@NickInNature you're right, i should try to work on my vehicle with tweezers. Actual tools are too easy🤪. I bet you do do more outdoors than me. I have a job/career. I've hiked that trail fully covered in snow. Because I used to leave a 12ft boat and motor on the shore in the fall, so I could hike in and fish the lake with it way before boat ramp opens! I drive my SxS with snow tracks with boat in the winter and camp n fish different sierra lakes before anyone. I've caught more trophy trout than everyone you know combined up to 23#s. I've towed my boat into lakes miles through snow to fish lakes. I know the Sierra way longer than you son. @@NickInNature It’s a standing order in TNF, year round. Were you in a yellow post site? If so, I didn’t know they had them up here, but other than designated recreation sites with fire rings, it’s a huge no no. I personally don’t mind, I was referring to the rangers not liking it and citing all who disobey. There’s a bunch of details such as equipment with a shut off valve, jellied stoves, etc., but open fires in rock rings have been prohibited for several years now. 👍
@NickInNature
@NickInNature 3 месяца назад
@@garygolfer3243 Well I gave the ranger station a phone call this morning. They said that might have been the case during drought years. However, the fire order was dropped in October of 2023 and hasn't been introduced again. He advised me that fires are allowed at dispersed camping sites as long as you have a fire permit. Happy hiking!

@@NickInNature HA! More Government crappy information! I’m not surprised 🙄 The supervisors office says they were lifted in December, someone told you October, the website still says prohibited year round, and to top it off my friend Jeff was cited in late November of last year!
