Howdy, The next time you do beer batter, add some dijon mustard...that is how here in Maine we make Striper Tacos...if you want a sweeter batter, add a little Maple Syrup, which takes it to a better place...we do a lasagne with Corn Bread and Shrimp, using Dijon Mustard, Blueberries and BBQ Sauce, with Diced Onions and Peppers...

When balancing your boat so it doesn’t have a starboard list, maybe place your cooler to the port, as step one. Then weigh the items that you added to a neutral bouncy, this is called a weights and moments calculation, when i did military naval vessels. Then move the items as best to center or the side that rocks to the high side. You will also get better mileage since the boat will ride smoother on the chines. Just a couple of suggestions…you can do it. This is easier than figuring out the magnet trick for the shark avoidance.

Hi Capt.... Thank you for another great video! This is a super anchorage you found. You're protected 270 degrees, and like you showed, you can anchor on the other side with opposite winds.... Love the drone shots and fishing parts too!

Capt Crooked, you can get a adapter that you drop in the rod holder it is stainless and makes your rod holder a swivel rod holder the piece heavy so should hold up for a long time mine are about 8 yrs old. Tie some fishing line on it so you be can get it out JT

These last 3 videos have been amazing, I'm a couple hours north of you so I usually head to the abacos and grand bahama. Maybe I'll run down to Cat Cay next time I'm across the gulf stream.

Hey Capt - Love your channel because I just got a 2016 2120 SC w/Yamaha 200 and I have a few questions if I could: 1. I need an anchor windlass. What kind/size do you have - and would you recommend same or something different? 2. Seems slow / sluggish getting out of the hole with very high bow and it seems to yaw excessively at slow speeds making steering pretty laborious . I have a 14.5 / 15 prop and a buddy wirh a 24 Grady White suggesting to change to a 15.5/17 prop. What size is yours and do you notice same thing I do? 3. Where did you put your separate 2 or three (?) dedicated batteries for your trolling motor and did you get lead acid, AGM or lithium? 4. Did you do a separate episode for the instalation of your refrigerator and ice maker? Thank you sir. Chris

Yo yo, some friendly advice that’s bugged me a tad. You tell “PROP CLEAR” however the saying is CLEAR PROP. Prop clear indicates the prop is clear of debris or people. Yelling clear prop is a warning to surrounding individuals that the boat is going to be starting its engine and the prop will be turning hence clear prop. Love the content my man!

How big is that cooler? You loaded it up last video with numerous fish, Cap. I have a question about "balance" on the CPH. I've noticed the helm with you, the cooler and now the generator on the starboard side of the boat along with the deep cycle batteries, the fridge and icemaker. In addition, the prop turns to the right which the torque will cause a starboard side "lean". Other than the A/C unit and the Minnkota, what is on the port side? That Grouper looked amazing, well done.
