I went camping alone on a hill overlooking the sea. Join me in immersing in the beautiful sunset, deafening sounds of the crickets, and stunning views of the straits of Malacca. The morning after followed gracefully with a meditative drip coffee making session, and a nourishing oriental breakfast.

Thanks Jun, enjoyed following your exploration. Excellent tarp setting skills. I never had a chance to use one as we often trek carrying ultra light gears comprising 1 or 2P tent, sleeping bags, inners, air mattresses, alpine cooking system, water reservoir and purification, first aid, PLB + SOS/Map device. All these plus food we cram into a 50L plus knapsack with a combined weight of 12 to 15kg a time. We often trek from our cars for 6 to 8 hour-day achieving distance of 22km and elevation gains of 2000 to 2500m. Keep up the good work, absolutely love your cooking.

Such a nice campsite, even it's not that big but i like it as well... You can witness the sunset that makes it more relaxing....i really love the sound of nature... Watching here in the Philippines... Take care always

In Malaysia, I only solo camp in gated guarded campsites, cause I know hutan malaysia is not to be taken lightly. Brave but I usually do some research and homework first. Alot of things I still don't dare to do alone due to safety reasons :)

Love your videos! They lid my desire to start car camping! If I go camping with wife and 2 kids (7 and 5), where do you think is the good (and safe) place to camp? Perhaps somewhere with shallow river. I think I'll start with 2 sleeping in cars and 2 in ground tent. I'm staying in setapak. Any suggestions? Kamsiahamidah boss 😆

Quite many options in Selangor/Pahang/N9. Yaka Campsite, Hammocks By The River, Teratak Tok Alang, PD Mayang Sari, few in Janda Baik. The list is endless!
