I spent two nights solo car camping in the Drakensberg Mountains. I enjoyed a 4 hour hike and using my camp kitchen or chuck box which I made during lockdown. I also made some Potjiekos using my little dutch oven.
@@ortiko Your channel is great, just subscribed. Most of the camping and hiking is done in nature and game reserves, so I think it is to protect both the dogs and wild animals.

Great video! A rinkhals is dark towards black without a lighter/yellow belly. A rinkhals is poisonous but very seldom lethal and it is a very timid snake that relies on an aggressive display for protection. That could be a brown-house snake or more likely a mole snake due to the light underside.

I would be more inclined to think it was more than likely a Cape Cobra. Although they do have quite a colour variation they are known to be dark brown to golden brown with yellow underbelly.

Hi, I booked through the national park. I think it is like a central booking system, but I'm not sure. Yes, Potso got his bag and sent me pics of himself using it. He was very grateful.
Hi, I'm actually going to make a video soon on how I made my chuck box. I'm not good at woodwork and do not have many tools. I made my chuck box during the first lock-down last year and it was a fun project as I had the time. Unfortunately I'm very busy at the moment and wont have time to make another one.
Hi, I'm not sure on the size, it is quite big. I bought it from Makro and its actually on special at the moment for about R500. I paid R700. It comes with 2 poles, I bought extra poles and stronger pegs. Its also very waterproof.
When I lived in SA still, often went camping and overnight hiking at Injisuthi. The one camping trip early morning cooked a full english breakfast with mates. We wernt too hungry so we put a fly net over and went too the river for a bath... Got back and Baboons litterly levelled the campsite. Destroyed the breakfast 😂🤣🤣😂. Looked like a bomb had gone off😂😂. Lesson learned... Good times Great memories!!
