Important details:
Ansur has death ward and he immediately casts gathering storm after resurrecting. The rain also gives a permanent wet condition that gives lightning vulnerability.
Can you tell how surprised I was when Ansur pulled out that death ward into gathering storm. This also showcases why I love half orcs so much.

I beamed this mf with dergslaying arrows, then we hid inside invuln globe to tank the nuke. Never stood a chance.

Invul globe is a great strat for him. Unfortunately not viable for melee, because he flies away.

I've always sold a lightning protection ring, but now I won't. Cool video, thanks) Before the dragon's health dropped to 0 and it soared, it was probably worth skipping the action and not attacking. And later finish off and fly away from his attack in flight. It was a very scary moment.

All 4 of us were downed by his 1hp nuke but luckily our paladin had Lathandar's blessing...or else that was it for our honor mode.

Have you considered grabbing a bunch of invuln dome scrolls and just casting those when he does his AoE? That's what I always do, though it does require concentration.

What is that bubble around you ? Looks like the shield reaction spell but you have it before the fight ?

Shield of thralls. Illithid ability, gives 10 temp hp and stuns enemies in melee range when that 10 hp is gone

Yeah silver sword would be way better if you could get it. I didnt have it on me. This was the highest damage two hander that he did not resist.

In case you want another use for it, you can survive the netherbrain orb of negation with the invul bubbles. I have a video on that, but it's very memey.

You can just walk in and grab that. Don't need to interact with Ansur at all.

wait how do you use secondary arrow as additional attack? Because I can only use basic attack in additional attack, when I tried to use it said it required action to use

Paladins have innate 2 attacks per "action" at level 5. Be it melee or range

@@nhyvt I mean does every classes except Sorcerer, Wizard, Cleric have that? But I cant do thing like cast spell, using scrolls, using functional arrows,.. The only thing I can do with additional attack are basic melee, range, throw, improvised weapon

@@estaliah.8276 Most "Physical" type of classes, get their "additional attack" at level 5, bards have it at level 6, fighter get it at level 5 and 11. Spellcasting classes have different ways to have "additional way to cast" per se. Learn your build via a youtuber and play with it. It's why the game is fun.

⁠⁠@@estaliah.8276just click the arrow icon to shoot and you can pick an arrow, no matter which attack you use Extra Attack (when you take the attack action, you can attack twice instead of once) is offered to many classes yes. You can’t use it to cast spells or scrolls because those are different actions to the attack action (even if it’s an attack spell, attacking and casting a spell are different)
