I definitely recommend the Trekker if you have a way to transport it, if you're just backpacking than I would suggest a collapsible stove from Pomoly. This Mountain Cattle tent is fine for one person, gear and a stove MAX. If you want to be comfortable with 2-3 people and a stove plus gear I would recommend the Pomoly Hex Plus. Thanks for the detailed response and information. I have the Trekker on order from Cabelas. I backpack but do more car camping. I figure that I can have some fun with it during the summer. I’m looking forward to hot tent camping in the winter.
