Solo hot tent camping in the woods using the Tentipi Safri 7 with stove. If you want to stay warm in winter then this is the perfect solution! The tipi is heated by the stove which has enough room on top for two pans so you can cook while staying warm and dry. Paul, what I love about you is your natural warmth and authenticity. You're an unfiltered "warts-an'-all" kinda guy, and it's infinitely preferable to falsely polished people presenting an image. Thank you for being honest and real. I learn stuff from you, and you make me laugh - can't ask for more than that! Also, I have a Tentipi, and have boiled my arse off in it too... cos that Endell stove is designed for winters in the far North... but it's a brilliant bit of design and will keep you warm in winter all night long (unlike most stoves, which go out and leave you scrabbling for fuel in the middle of the night with your sleeping bag round your ankles!).

Cannae beat a bit of haze outdoors on a Sunday evening.. definitely the man on RU-vid.. I'm just back home in Glasgow here after a weekend running the coast along Aberdeen and duntottar Castle mate .. now that's a bit of scenery you'd love and what a backdrop for a video mate , you can pitch up on the hill as well here in Scotland and zip your tent open in the morning and what a thumbnail that would be .. stay cool wee man . Lol 😆

Great video, I've got the safir 9 version of this tipi and it's all I use for campsites now. Nothing better than sitting in it with the warmth of the stove after a days hill walking while the wind & rain hammers down outside. I've been in it in howling storms and with the guy lines out it's solid as a rock. Wind just passes round it. The Swedes use these in the depths of their winter so it'll cope with UK weather no problem including a Scottish winter.

Got a little lavvu hot tent with a homemade stove which I haven't used in a while - you've got me excited to get out in it this winter! My favourite thing to do is to shut the doors, stoke up the stove, (check the CO detector is still working), and put a pan of water with some pine needles on to boil. Proper sauna it up in there. I got mine up to about 50C before, it's glorious. Can't wait to do that with an icy Scottish loch right next to me to jump into

Been hot-tenting for a while now, we have 5 different hot tents atm from a 5m bell tent to a 1 man one-tigris and we absolutely love it. The tipi/bell tent shape is ok if it's big enough, but once you go smaller the rectangular tents become a must. Didn't notice any mention of a CO meter, please don't miss on that Hazy, it's not something to play with. You can get a tent-compatible meter for under £50, and it's not worth the risk of going without. If you want a "wild-campable" setup that's light enough to hike with look at the winnerwell fastfold. Pomoly also have a few good stoves. We've tried a lot so I have quite a few answers :)

Theres a couple of canadian channels, canoeing in summer, plodding in winter, dragging sleds and putting up tents like your 'un. Very amiable company, bit like yourself. They find a good spot and pitch their tipi...that'll be it for 3 or 4 weeks/weekends. Temperatures are in the -20's...so thats FRESH!!! Enjoyed your little venture into posh tenting, as always craic was illuminating. Good 'un bud, take care...
