The first guy was so welcoming. "Welcome to Vietnam!" 👍👍 People will be amazed how much freedom the Vietnamese people actually have. Beautiful country and beautiful people!
I just can't imagine Vietnam having any dangerous neighborhoods - it seems like such a nice country! We can't wait to go their on our own travels and experience it for ourselves! ♥🇻🇳
I was in Vietnam about 5 years ago. Done most of the country from Ho Chi Minh to Hanoi, walking around all day and night in totally random areas, not one issue at all. Amazing place, I would love to go back and I'm sure I will soon!
Very safe compared to most countries. Low on violent crimes, for sure. And women can travel solo without fear of being harassed, groped, molested, raped, kidnapped, killed, etc. Worst that may happen is you'll get your iPhone stolen while on a scooter, but I'm sure stealing happens more often in touristy places like Paris or Italy.

For the Banh Mi, they actually charged 30000VND ~ 1.5$ but the text shown 70000VND ~ 3$ ^^
This is 🔥! What I love from your channel is you were always keep being you. Am counting to know more and more about people, food & culture in the country you're visiting which what others don't, Harry!
Having lived in the west for last couple of years, i understand hospitality in asia is of no match and the quality of life there where money alone is not considered the ultimate source of happiness. Even having little can give u happiness. At the end what matters is how u lived ur life and not how much u had in life. Truly amazing people and the hospitality, Vietnam has always been a country in my bucket list for reasons unknown. Will b there oneday.
@@harryjaggardtravel Definitely Harry. I have been watching ur Nepal adventures and now Vietnam. I like the way u blend urself into the community u r in. And btw have u thought about Bhutan 🇧🇹 anytime? Thats where i come from, its expensive but the experience can b something very different. If u r interested and need some info, u can always buzz me up. Cheers mate!
Vietnam is a beautiful country full of energy, war history and multiculturalism. Ho Chi Minh City is the largest city. Such a warm welcome to Vietnam for the first time, everyone loves Harry, what a legend Harry is! The people in the District 4 are very friendly and enthusiastic, thank you Harry for taking us to visit such a joyous area! So happy to watch Harry attend that family reunion and sing KTV, Happy Vietnam Independence Day! 👍🥰🙌
Thank you so much for sharing! VN is such a vibrant country, the locals are just so full of energy! I cannot wait to explore more of Vietnam and what it has to offer.
@@harryjaggardtravel It is my honor, thanks to you too for promoting such a vibrant country so hard! Next, you can go to Hanoi, Da Nang, Halong bay, I believe they are all places worth visiting! Happy travels! 👍🥰🙏
The way you're able to get comfortable doing thing's that are so outside of everyone else's comfort zone is truly inspiring!! I strive to be that way when traveling but am too introverted
You made my day again Harry. I love to go and visit to Vietnam also. Vietnam people are so so hard working also. All of their food are so popular in America also. I love all kind of Vietnam soup and Vietnam sandwich. You are so easy going person also. You are get around well with all kind of people also. You came there on the Big day of Independent Day there and unforgettable memories for you also. I like you try smoke pipe and said welcome to Vietnam and sing the song with the local friendly native Vietnam also. Ha ha ha. Keep it up to travel in Vietnam and put more interesting thing place you visited from Vietnam for us. All of the Local people will love you also from there. They are hard working and friendly also. They are so welcome to you and over friendly to you from there. Ha ha ha.
This is one of the BEST and most entertaining videos I've seen in a while. What an awesome first impression you must have had and the amazing memories you'll take with you.
I am Vietnamese ! Glad you came to visit my country ! but I noticed at 8 minutes 44 seconds you misplaced the price of a loaf of bread! exactly 30000 vnd is only 1.27 usd! rather than 70000 vnd ! So it's too expensive compared to the actual price! I'm just giving a little advice! thank you
Hi I'm French I didn't know Vietnam had good baguettes most of the time bread is plastic "chewy" across the world but if there is one country to know about good food it has to be Vietnam ! Good food, good bread, good people, what more could you ask for ? And good music too apparently! 😂
I laugh all the time while watching this video, especially when a family invites you into their house and sing karaoke together 😆. Vietnamese people seem so hospitable and kind.
I admire you so much for going up to random people and just getting to know them even if there are language barriers. I’m Vietnamese and sometimes I get so nervous talking to my own people sometimes.
At 6.45 she gave you a compliment, she said your teeth looks beautiful. At 19.45 he asked you do you have a Vietnamese girl friend LOL? 22.13 he said he makes friends with you with all his enthusiams, no benefit at all
Ah yes, I love Vietnamese people! I am a Vietnamese too, and they are very nice. They are very friendly. I can understand what they said. I am happy that you visit Vietnam. Welcome to Saigon.
BTW, considering you've never been there before, you're way ahead of many who have been there or many who live there as far as you trying to speak the language. It's difficult to address different people with appropriate titles and you actually tried...wow! Regarding words that start with ng, think of English words that end in ng like king, sing, ring, etc., and concentrate on the ng sound those words make and keep practicing and you'll eventually get the ngon correct.
This has to be the best Video about my hometown I have ever watched on youtube. Your video make me so proud of being a Vietnamese, our hospitality is just the best and you won’t find it anywhere else in this world. Ps: You brought so much laughter to me in this video, and also lots of tears as watching your video make me extremely homesick. You have gained another Vietnamese in living in the UK subscriber. Keep up the good work
At 12.55, you drove past the new street food market, old one used to be next to benh thanh market. It more expensive than street food but also offers some different food. Last time i had ostriche and chilli. Stayed in district 4 a few tines and never had a problem. Has to be a rising district with good bars and street food.
welcome to Vietnam. You are so cute and approachable. Wish you have a nice trip to Vietnam. Vietnamese people are friendly and approachable. We love you so much
Welcome to Viet Nam, i hope you have great many videos when you in Viet Nam to find out Vietnamese's people life and Vietnamese cuusine. I'm a bit fan of you.
Welcome to VN ! You seemed to be a friendly person . I heard the Banh Mi vendor told you only 30 K VND ( Ba Muoi ) but you put in your subtitle 70 K ( Bây Muoi ) and that confused me a bit . FYI Ho Chi Minh was the leader of the Vietnamese communist party who defeated the French in 1954 and got the independence for VN from France ( not from America like you said ) . He passed away in 1969 six years before the end of the American war in 1975 . The day you filmed that vlog (April 30th ) was not the Independence day but the Liberation Day of Saigon ( April 30th 1975 ) or the Reunification Day of Vietnam . The VN independence day is actually September 2nd . Hope you will visit more interesting places in VN and enjoy your trip here . I am a new subscriber to your channel .
You are amazing. This is the real life in vietnam. Nice to see u. Next year in feburuary I come to vietnam. I live in gernany but I love my country vietnam.
I have been going to Vietnam since the early 2000s and have lived there up to three months at a time many times. I have traveled all over Southern Vietnam. I may actually have some videos from my first adventures. I need to look for them. Vietnam is a great country and the people are very friendly.
Harry I love watching your videos you seem to have the ability to go any where and not speak much of the language but interact in such a genuine way people have no problem excepting you.
I was just in Saigon last year. Sush a beautiful and incredible city. I can't wait to go back. It was nice seeing so many familiar places in this video!
Could you please stop making false title like "Dangerous Hood" thats so rude to tag a place or a community a unsafe place without having some evidence. You are ruining there image to other people and thats bad
