I was planning to do Arsene only vs black mask boss, but copying his skill set onto Arsene xD You can do it if interested. I'm reluctant to modify my megidolaon Arsene.

@Jaiveon Watts if he had, he wouldn’t be able to do his weaknesses and Anzathoth would take almost no damage due to the shield tendril. i know because i tried concentrate, heat riser and deliberate and morning star, which is one of the best almighty skills, and almighty boost and amp, with magic ability and only did 20 damage.

I mean I suppose it's like if Batman had some kryptonite armor and couldn't be seriously hurt by Superman it doesn't make him stronger, while Maruki is definitely stronger, he isn't well equiped enough or fighting strategically enough to beat Joker (I know this is just a joke but I like to think about these things)

@@kawou4250 except in strikers. Where he fought and defeated someone who's stated to be more powerful than Maruki. (Yes, Joker beat this person solo)

@The Assassinguy raining seeds was really confusing tbh You would think that would be the one almighty attacks. But no. Apparently it's the physical. Granted, seeds was the giveaway, but that does not seem like a physical attack at all

@@yilinchua8205 Thanks It was difficult though since I was on Merciless, no items and had a Almighty/Gun Arsene while Raoul was Curse so I had to use my teammates much more carefully and alternate between them all on the fly. It makes the boss much more fun imo

But “final boss” is in the title, if you’re still finishing up the game why did you watch a video of the final boss?

I don't even remember if I watched it or if I had beaten the game at this point, but it was thoughtful of the creator not to spoil it for people just looking through suggested videos.

Yeah that is a problem. Not only is it easy, but Maruki does next to nothing. That downplays the boss for me the rest ist really cool. Not as cool as Shido imo, but still cool.

Fafnir and Alilat work well for support because they don't need many slots to block everything but Almighty. Depends what trait you want, like Vitality of the Tree, Retaliating Body, Immunity, etc

I used a vitality of the tree abaddon with conc charge debilitate and thermo. Then I hade repel bless repel ice and repel elec because those could one hit or stop my turn. Then spell master cause they be sp expensive

I actually liked how he doesn't show up because it's a story reason that actually makes a lot of sense. Satanael manifested through the sheer will of the masses wanting to be free from control, and in the 3rd semester, no one wants to be free from their blank bliss. The phantom thieves betray The World and its wishes for the sake of its future. Plus, holy shit that checkmate was awesome.

AeroDynamo exactly! Having Joker do it himself made it more emotionally impactful to me.

I'm more upset that Joker didn't summon Raoul. It would thematically make sense as it would represent Joker's resolve steal back humanity's future like a gentleman thief such as Raoul would. And just like a gentleman thief he would have the whole world against him with only his will power, allies, and wits to help him. I still really like the ending. I just think Raoul could still be incorporated by being used during the last phase of the fight or by helping Joker in the cutscene then having Joker finish Adam Kadmon off. I really hope we'll get to see what they originally planned one day.

Nope. If the opponent repels an attack that your persona drains or repels, it will simply be blocked. This prevents self healing and endless repel loops.

sadly that part of the fight is just for show, but it would’ve been cool to summon big boy satanael again to fight Adam Kadmon

That would be cool, but the tendrils are weak to a lot of stuff. Like the left one is weak to Fire/Ice/Elec/Wind, right one is weak to Psy/Nuke/Bless/Curse. I just used Bless/Wind here cuz they wouldn't be reflected back to damage me

Maruki just stands there until you attack him, even if you spend multiple turns buffing, healing, etc

bainz I meant the part where Joker climbs Adam and points a gun at his face, and then the game prompts you to press x to fire the gun. What happens if you want too long to shoot the gun?

@@nasu_Is_Goated Yaldabaoth is the final boss in vanilla P5. But if you have max SL with Maruki, Rank 5 with Kasumi, and around Rank 8 with Akechi, Maruki becomes the final boss

The Fighting Shadow Nah, Satanael is the best persona in the game, not including DLC. Tyrants mind just makes him that much stronger, and with intense focus and black viper (or with will of the sword so you can have megidolaon as well, which is what I wish I did but I’m not tryna max out all of his stats again) I don’t know who’s better though, since Yoshitsune destroys the twins but tbh I used Satanael WAY more in NG+.

@@maskedhylian6674 Problem is, Satanael is super high level, so not much room in terms of improving stats. You have a lot of freedom on increasing Arsene's stats, you can easily cover his weaknesses, and not to mention being able to do quite a lot of builds with him
