This guy's Awesome. One of my all time fav Vans..very sweet setup.Way cool van.would love to see Bob from cheaprvliving do an interview. Guys living the Dresm..nice setup.didnt see a toilet though..
I've said it before, but vans offer so much room and options for travel & storage. This dude sounds like a good guy too, thanks for sharing your setup with all of us! 🤙 -Josh
Yes indeed the vans offer more storage options! For full-time I think is a better option. But the overloading style anyways is really cool! 😉😎 Yes Brian is a really great guy and friend! 🥰 Thank you so much Josh for watching and for your nice comment! You're always so supportive! Really appreciate it!!! 🙏😊 Have a great Sunday!
Awesome! Awesome van!! Awesome seeing the collaboration, and people helping people! Awesome job putting this together!! Very cool upgrades, lots of great ideas!!! We’re beyond impressed! Thanks for sharing!!! ✌🏻😁👍🏻
So glad you liked it!!!! 😍 Thank you so much Chris for being always so supportive, for leaving such beautiful and inspiring comments!!!! It means a lot and I really appreciate it!!!!!!! You're awesome! Sincerely grateful! Many Blessings!!! 🙌💖 Elvi 🤗
Had any problems with the police yet? Hearing they are harassing van and car lifers now trying to actually put them in jail. That's stupid and it's not going to stop anything. Just trying to make life harder for people.
I love how much he loves his setup! I love the level of thought Brian put into stealth mode, and how everything works for him! He made me chuckle when he talked about not loving microwaves but that he has one now 😂 Still a solid no thanks from us but hey, whatever works for the individual! Great editing Elvi, I agree Brian has a great RU-vid personality 🧡
Hi Gin!!!!! How are you guys doing?! I'm so sorry that Ive been missing a little!!!! I see you guys blowup!!!!! SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!! CONGRATULATIONS ON THAT NEW MILESTONE AND SO WELL DESERVED!!!!!! 👍👍👍👍👍🙌🙌💖💖💖💖💖 You guys don't use microwave at all?! Yes Brian has it! He thinks he is shy though! He's a great friend! Thank you so much for watching, for your thoughtful comment, kind words and for your friendship and support! It means a lot!!!!! 🙏❤️ Take care and have a wonderful day and week! 🤗😘🥰
@@OnVanLifeMode I was so excited to see you'd posted a new video!!! Nope, we do not own a microwave and do not use them. Back when we did, over 15 years ago, i always thought the food lost it's value after being 'nuked' as we called it. its great not having one, if we ever need to reheat something we use the oven or cook top. Ahh yes the 2k mark just flew straight past us, thank you, we didn't even get a chance to properly celebrate 1k 😂 I will fill you in when we finally make that facetime call 🥰 We really just want to create vids that people want to see and enjoy and get inspired from but I don't think we're quite hitting the nail on the head yet. We'll just keep doing our thing, excited to introduce our community to our cat and dog. I think living with them on the road will bring on a few laughs!
Thanks for reusing an old van. To reduce your carbon footprint and get 25MPG, see my video at: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-l3BPKGvdV8I.html
Thank you so much for watching and for your nice comment! Really appreciate it Tim!!! Going to be checking that out!!! 👍 Thank you for the advice!!! Stay safe and cool! Have a great day! 🤗 Elvi
My dear Brian!!!!!! I’m so happy you liked it!!! I was worried! We’ll talk about it later anyways! 😅 Thank you so much for leaving me your comment. It means a lot!!!!! 🙏🥰 And for such a great tour you have us! I really enjoyed editing it!!! 🥰
Hey Brian, loved your setup and I agree with everyone else, you can totally rock your own channel! Believe it or not, I am a very shy person but I'm always getting told how confident I look on our channel. Truthfully I think the channel has helped me become more confident even though I still think I'm shy 😊 ~Gin
Hi Brian! Thx to you and Vlad and Elvi for doing this video. It's kind of rare to get detailed vids of conversion vans. I have a 91 Chevy conversion van G30 that I'm just getting ready to hit the road in! It doesn't have the folding bed like yours, cuz it was used as a wheelchair van for a while. I am amazed at all you can power with your 200 watts of solar and 200 Ah AGM. That is really great info. One question for you please... do you ever feel the need for air conditioning when you're on the road? I will be traveling with my 35 lb little pittie girl (and maybe a cat... not sure)... so I bought a little AC unit that I'm putting in one of the back windows. It only draws 400 W when running, but the initial surge wattage is 1700-1800, so I don't think a 200 Ah system will run it. :( I'm mainly just curious if your feel the need for AC in your van when camping or when parked and not driving. Cuz you probably have AC in the van when driving. Just want to add thanks so much for the detailed info on the mechanical maintenance of the van... I've just replaced the pitman/idler arms and steering box and it's steering much better. :) I'm wondering about preventive maintenance. Or do you just wait til you know you have a problem with something and then fix it? (Like the rear axle for example.) Thx for any info on that. Cheers and have a great day!
Me and my wife loves he's set up plan on something similar but cabinet from Amazon due to my several sever injuries and the fact ours is for the weekends
The Chevy I had was wider slightly than the Dodge I have now. It’s a 1994 Ram 3/4 ton V-8 tows great up to 12,000. Lbs. I have been using it to move from one state to another. I added a bed cross wize like I had in my old Chevy however it’s a short Full bed. Not quite long enough but it’s ok. I added simply a toilet and quality ice chest. It gets me by while towing my things.
I ordered the windshield cover for my gmc vandura and it’s not a custom fit, it’s fitted for another vehicle. Your link is misleading and should be connected to the website the man actually got it from. I would change this
I have a 24 foot B plus Motorhome that I prefer because I can stand up and it has all my solar and batteries and it dry camp’s beautifully until it gets Hot 🥵 then I need ac to run my roof air
This is great! I always see alot of young people getting a van and doing the same thing as everyone else, completely ripping out the interior and turning it into a mini home on wheels with the rustic "hipster" look. It's rare to find videos like this where the van is still original with a few quality of life upgrades like electricity and repair and maintinance. I love it Brian!
Glad you enjoyed!!! Brian is indeed an authentic guy! I also enjoyed that how natural he was even though this was his first time and he was kind of nervous. 😊 Thank you so much Douglas! Really appreciate you watching and your comment! Hope you're doing well and the weather is good over there! Take care! Elvi 🤗
Hi Tim!!!! Thank you so much my friend!!!! Hope you're doing well!!!! Need to catch up on our latest videos! Sorry it has been so hard to do things lately!!!! I've watched couple of your videos but still haven't commented. So Sorry!!! Have a wonderful week and as always thank you so much for your amazing support!!!! 🙏 ELvi 🤗
You should definitely have a separate RU-vid channel dedicated to this van. The overall look is very nice, but the 1992-1994 GMC Vandura is definitely one of my favorite vans on my wishlist, though my preference is a standard one with a blue leather interior. When the weather is perfect with less wind, I suggest do a video road trip along with the cold engine startup (wait until the noise disappears when possible before ignition) and immediate revving when possible.
Yes! It’s is always so interesting to see how in the same space people can do so many different designs!!! Thank you so much for stopping by and taking the time to watch! It means a lot! And for your nice comment! Really appreciate it!!!! 🙏
Hi Ray!!!!! Thank you so much for stopping by!!!! Let's see if he gets motivated! I'll try to help him if he decides to start! Hope you're doing well! Wishing you a wonderful week and not too hot! Elvi 🤗
Wao that’s lots of miles! Hope Driven by you on amazing travels and adventures! Great to hear that it’s still running well! Take good care of it! Thank you so much for watching and for the positive feedback! Really appreciate it!
Awesome! Really nice van. We've talked about getting a van like that. That was a nice thorough tour too. I like how you show what is used for daily life such as the fridge/cooler. That's things people really want to know about van life. You did a really good job on this.
You guys have the trailer! A van I think would be small or tight for you both. 😉 Those kind of vans are actually really cute and have ton of character and uniqueness. Thank you so much dear Felix for your amazing support!!!! Really appreciate it!!!!! 🙏❤️
Hi! Thank you for watching and for leaving your feedback and info! Really appreciate it! I checked what you meant. Yeah Brian was using it while he was able to plug to the electricity of the apartment. Good to know how much it pulls out! 👍
Hi. He bought it on Amazon. You can find the links of the items mentioned in the video on the description of the video. For the ADCO Windshield Cover: amzn.to/2THBFVB

I love his van and I think you should have his own RU-vid channel. I will be purchasing a van soon and it's very similar to his and it gave me some ideas.
Hey Michelle! That's awesome that you're almost there accomplishing your goal/dream! 😍 Happy for you!!!!! 👍🥰 If you need any help or advice don't hesitate to ask! I have a 1995 Dodge Ram3500 RoadTrek conversion and know absolutely nothing about the various mechanical things. Does he do consulting? Lol. I want to take care of it, but have no clue where to start🤷 🚙🇨🇦
Is it the same kind of van than yours? I'm confused! Thank you so much Charlie!!!!! Really appreciate you stopping by and the nice comment!!! Hope you're doing well and the weather is already better over there!!! Take care!!!
What a great video! Brian "the van dude" is pure awesomeness and you 2 are excellent interviewers/cinematographers, etc. Best half hour I've had in some time. Thanks for sharing.
I love this vid! & Brian! I have a 91 hightop Chevy conversion van & just getting ready to roll in a couple of months... Lord willing lol! Thanks for all the cool tips. 💓
Thank you so much for the nice comment, positive feedback and the good wishes! I'll give them to Brian for sure!!!!! Really appreciate it! 🙏 Are you a van lifer? Greetings from San Diego! 🤗 Elvi & Vlad

Awesome van tour. Awesome van and some great smart storage🙌 We do have the home depot laundry sink too. Love that it is huge however it takes up space for potential cabinets. We still love it because it is so easy to wash pots and pans! Plus we can use as quick storage when on the go. Not to forget, love the drone shots!!!
You have that laundry sink too? We have one from Home Depot too that we installed recently, but a steel one. Also big and love it because in deed for big pots and pans is so comfortable! And now for washing Chi Chi too! Need to check out, in which video do you show it? We haven't done the video of the install yet. Thank you so much for watching and for your awesome comment! Really appreciate it!!!! Hope you guys are doing great! How is Givey's back pain? Wishing you a great day and rest of the week! Elvi 🤗
@@OnVanLifeMode Elvi why do I(Myla) feel like I’ve known you for so long, hahaha. We have not done a video yet but you are the second person to ask. Our kitchen is far from complete but we are making the most of it until then. I can definitely picture Chi Chi in the sink having some spa moment😍 Givey’s back pain is very slow in progress but patience always pays off. Thanks so much for asking, greatly appreciate. Hope you both are well and happy🤗
Awwww that's such a sweet comment Myla!!!! 🥰🥰🥰 It takes a while to be up to date on the YT compared to real life! 😅 Yes patience and taking good care of it! Hope he can get better soon!!! Take care!!! And also hope you're well and wishing you the best! Elvi 🤗
Oh yeah! It took me a while! 😂 It's been busy!!!! We still need to catch up! 😉 Thank you so much for stopping by! Really appreciate it!!!! Hope you guys are doing well! Wishing you an awesome weekend!! (hope we can get to do the kayaking or something pretty soon! We'll be in Las Vegas on the week, but after that maybe!)😎
Tes he is pretty comfortable and happy with it!!!! We always enjoy camping with Brian! 😊 Thank you so much for stopping by! Really appreciate your time and support! It means a lot knowing that you guys has so much to be taking care of! Hope you're feeling better! Take care, stay safe and cool and may blessing to you on your healing!!!!🙌💖 Elvi 🤗
Hello. I have a 5.7 1990 Chevy G20 Mark III similar to yours and I want to do stealth also. I was thinking of BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO2 235/75R15, slight aggressive but I'm hoping they won't rattle anything. Question for Brian, what was your mud tires you said were too rough so I can avoid? Tires are my main question, but I'm also thinking of some Bilstien shocks, Moog front springs, Dorman 3klbs rear springs. Rears are very saggy and worn, and might as well replace all 4 corners. Anyways, thanks for the video, I learned a lot.
