My boys and I have visited Goathlands many times. And stayed at that camp site. Must be at least 20 years ago. Looks nicer now. Used to be sheep grazing and shitting everywhere 😁. There was an old boy who used to sit watching you with a shotgun on his lap. He was really grumpy and threatened to shoot any dog seen off it's lead 😂

I've been wanting to go camping in over 2 years. Bought all the gear but never done it before. With full panniers and top box that's quite some weight on my vfr800.i watch your videos and inspired as I'm from the north east and have such lovely countryside

Great vid. You have lots of cooking gear! I'm going to Europe for a week with my brother on a motorbike tour and looks like I might need to invest a little more in cooking bits than what I have already!

Thanks for that. It depends on what you want to cook and how long you will have. Most get away with one small burner. If you’re hanging around the campsite all night, cooking is a great pastime. Otherwise there’s bars etc😃

Some great videos Pete, just wish the weather was a bit nicer here on the east coast Scotland to get out and do some camping still, gives me more time on the planning side of things and it's looking like Ireland this year, two items in your kit I'd like to check up on, the small BBQ and the cooking bags you have i.e. spices and the green and black ones are they from Amazon or Base Camp Food items, thanks and stay safe mate. (Loved your diplomacy on camera with the "Church Outing Squaddie's")

Another great video mate . Like the little barbecue, always a sticking point with a lots of campsites incase your burn the grass understandably . But it so nice to have a light weight barbecue for ya bike . We’re did you get it my friend if I can ask .

Great vlog. I think the 'Blot on the Landscape' is RAF Fylingdales. Built in the Cold War to give us the 4 minute warning.

Love your attention to detail mate especially the camping and cooking side of things. What tent do you feel is best for solo camping on a bike? and would love to know where you get your small items e.g your bag of small spices oil etc? I assume it's made up.

Hi thanks for that appreciate the nice words. All the little bits and pieces are just Amazon mostly. I’ve used that tent in that video couple of times now I find it the best for solo. It’s very strong and dry too. Been tested in next video😂

Enjoyed the video, many thanks for sharing it. Can I ask, did you get much condensation in the new tent? It’s very much like the jack wolfskin tent I had that suffered terribly with condensation, it was so bad I had to get rid of it. Shame as the design was brilliant. Cheers!

I actually got that will the panniers. I’ve seen them on Internet though, sure givi do one? Can’t remember price. £60 seems way too dear, was that not with the bracket too? If so, worth it.

Thanks again for this info on your bottle and fitting mount, again unfortunately the shipping comes close to the amount to buy this unit which is around £65, plus import VAT tax into the UK which puts it up to around £70+, looking at the Givi again but having issues getting the bottle before spring or pay excess for shipping, Let you know what happens and hopefully helping other with this issue, Ch==eers Pete Ride safe...... @@Two_Wheel_Trips
