The build is coming along nicely. As for the content, Shawn I enjoy learning and being inspired by what others aspire to for themselves. A short video on meals, planning a route, planning and packing gear for the activity, tricks to keep items cold/ hot/ dry etc., tips for what to look for in times of need, or just plain organizing for a day excursion. Longer videos are great for demonstrating more complex skills and builds. A quick video might be nice to break up a week, then a longer video on the weekend to look forward to. I appreciate all of your hard work no matter what you do!

These videos remind me of when I was a kid on the ranch. My brother and I would keep adding things to our “fort”. Whenever we would find new lumber or a random piece of plywood, we would build onto it. Thanks for bringing back memories, but doing it in a safe manner.

Maybe you can do a theme every few months for the shorts. Campsite meals, various knots, gear shorts tied to videos, how you pack/unpack, outakes etc. I am sure you got a plan, just love seeing the content to help me disconnect from this crazy world. Hey Sir, I started watching your videos to learn how to make a watchtower/ tiny cabin thing. I actually subscribed to your channel due to your expertise in building using normal household tools. Everything you show is very learnable however the "Final Thoughts" Segments definitely hooked me. I really appreciate your content! Good luck with your basement!

I think you should add a gutter to the roof to a 55 gal drum for rainfall water supply on the 2nd floor. You could have a small sink downstairs that water feeds to it so you have water to wash things. BTW love the channel!

Hi, Corp! I would like to see you take scrap wood and make a little tool stand to keep 'em if the ground and such. Or even a hanger inside. Thanks for sharing and inspo!

The shorts could be interesting for certain skills imo. Things like knots, starting fires, the tools you use in different ways like the gorilla tape, etc. Even random things like how to tell if a tree is dead and whether wood is dry or not. Stuff that probably doesn't need to be a full video but is something nice on the side.

Your cabin may be small and spartan, but you deffinately seem youre living like a king. These videos are very enjoyable.

About a week and half ago I started building myself a cabin, not quite the same as your evolving project. I started 12ft x16ft and 8ft deck with plan to add 16-20ft section later and car port off back side. Nothing fancy but usable for me.

If you are forced to do shorts I think knot shorts are awesome. I learn knots over and over but still benefit from the repetition.

Love the content, been following since you were still out west. An idea for the shorts maybe do some old school instructions, knot tying, tarp shelter set up, land navigation ECT. Whatever you decide I know it will be to your best ability. You are the hardest worker on RU-vid bushcraft. Keep it up!

It's nice having 1 minute videos for like if you have 5 minutes just watch a couple of them but long videos are better because usually when you're on you tube you have time to watch when I only have a few minutes I usually play a time killer game like subway Surfer ect

I absolutely love you doing this kind of stuff Building three variations in a row of the same kind of shelter gets really boring. I know a lot of your fans. Love that stuff. But it is equally awesome when you do different things. Build your own cabin, watch tower in the woods. All fantastic! Screw the numbers from RU-vid, keep doing what you want to do.
