Finished the modifications on the Solo Skiff! Everything is built/installed to ABYC standards and meets all USCG regulations. I may have went a bit over the top on this one 💪🏼

Wow great work love the hinged bait tank I think it needs a gas assist piston (like a one on car hood) with the boat moving the size of the cover will brake the plastic @ the hinges? Or maybe have the cover open sideways? Beautiful work 👏 👌

i would do extension handle and try stand up , might be hard to reach for the tiller with that seat! nice boat 🙂

Nava Down South coincidentally the Carbon Marine tiller extension just came in the mail today. It’s a shorty so I can sit sideways and steer seated

can't find a vid anywhere showing the install of the drain plugs which is so sketchy drilling below the waterline on my new SS. How deep/far did you have to drill- is the thickness in the transom the same of top where you installed the hatch?

Derrick Rodgers the battery is a 30ah Lithium battery (LiFePO) from amped outdoors in a pelican case that I modified for it

Last question looking at the vid aging did u remove the board underneath the trailer dose it sit on the frame? Thanks

@@hec0279 the bunks are bolted to the frame using bunk brackets and the solo sits on the bunks, it does not contact the trailer frame at any point. There are also rollers at each cross member so the nose doesn’t contact the frame when loading

Thanks I just bought that trailer yesterday and it comes with bunks but seemed like u made it sit lower any pics on what it looks like from the bottom

Gone Bananaz they do well on light chop, i wouldn’t take it out if it’s really windy or any waves over 1’. I’m sure it’s capable of more, but I don’t want to rush losing a rod/tackle or flipping
