Thanks! It is a pretty small sleeping area but the porch is pretty spacious, I can have my rottweiller and pack in there pretty easily, thanks for watching its much appreciated! 👍🍻
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment Des! Means a lot after I have watched all your tarp camps, the vestibule is big enough for my pack and my dog (Rottweiller), I also took the inner out once and had me and my daughter in there like a tarp
Thanks Mr N! Coming from a pro like yourself I appreciate it! This one was a little more basic of a camp but I went the extra mile to get some nice B roll
Thanks Rob, it’s amazing what most people can find within walking distance from home, thanks for watching and taking the time to comment, I really appreciate it 🤘🍻
Awesome bulldog Badger ohh yeeaahh. Really enjoyed your little adventure.it was great to follow you on your adventure yesterday evening and now actually get to watch it.you looked proper cosey in the tent and got to listen to the rain.Great drone footage, your drone skills are improving every time. Views of the fields were so relaxing. Food looked great and to wash it down with a nice beer. Loved the silent scene when you woke up in the morning. Thanks for the shout out. Thanks for sharing your adventure Mr bull dog👍
Thanks for the kind words Dai much appreciated, this one turned out ok for a little local camp! Shame the drone got rained on as I wanted to get some other shots before the rain started.. no worries for the shout out mate! We all grow together 👏😎
Great video Damian, gotta say you come across really well on camera 👍 nice camp spot that mate and it just goes to show you haven’t got to travel far to find somewhere nice. A nice place to go not far from where you live to recharge your batteries and wake up in nature, thanks for the shout mate we really appreciate it, looking forward to another colab camp or your next video 👍 Simon & Mark
Hahaha ssshhhhhh!! 🤫🤫🤫 Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment mate I really appreciate people who suffer my videos on a repeated basis lol 👏🍻
Nice little sneaky camp there buddy. Love the table 🤣 at least you didn't burn a hole through it like Nick 😂 p.s. just on my way back from the lake district 👍
Good video. I've used the Bobcat 1 in all seasons and weathers over the past two years and can attest to its water resistance. It is tight but a fair compromise on weight and quick pitching. Only issue I have is when setting it with the "vestibule" on the leeward side, the wind concaves in the opposite tent wall, despite the single guy line on that side. It does rob you of a lot of space and the inner is always in contact with the sleeping bag.
What a beautiful countryside! I spotted somewhere similar on my bike ride not far from my house and was wondering how safe it would be for me to stealth camp there. I feel safe up in the mountains but i’ve never tried camping on my own somewhere so close to settlements. Loved the drone footage, so relaxing. Cheers, Mari
I think if you show up late and bail early there won’t be many people passing, thank you for taking the time to watch and comment! As always it is appreciated! 👏🥂
Thanks Rachel! Solo’s are a bit of a daunting prospect to start with but so enjoyable and mentally and physically relaxing, it is like a factory reset for your head, you will love it! 👏
A new pack, great camp, great food, great beer, and an amazing view in your own backyard. That is perfect after 12 days of isolation. It was fun to watch another one of your videos.
Bulldog, did you shoot this with your phone + Joby bundle like you did with Cadair Idris? If so, is it still holding up? Thinking of getting one as I plan my own hiking/camping vids. Thanks, atb Mark
Now you have modified the bobcat how easy isit to get the pole in place, I've just purchased one of these tents and all the reviews are the same the pole is tough to get in position, should I just modify it before use... Also I'm going to die the inner black to give it more of a black out effect the aim to let less light in, thanks for the vids 🤙🏻
Tbh I would try it first.. it seems that not all are affected and from what I understand its just a bad batch of poles that slipped through the OEX QC Net. After I modified it is a lot easier to use and how you would expect, tight but not difficult.. dying the inner black sounds like a good idea as the yellow is a little bright and not easy on the eyes 👍 Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment I really appreciate it 🍻
@@BulldogBadger thanks mate, the tent arrives today so I shall set it up and see if I ended up with one of the poles from a bad batch, if not I'll leave it alone. As for dying it black it may take a couple of tries before I get the desired affect as the inner is such a vibrant colour, I'll also be re waterproofing the ground sheet just incase it effects that. I've got another mod in mind so as to when you peg the back out it pulls the inner with it giving you just a tiny bit more space 👌🏻 over all the tent is exactly what I want with a few mods it will be even more so and for the price how can you say no. No worries mate keep up the good work 👌🏻
@@Captainraskett1989 I have modded the inner the way you mention to create more space, i stuck the inner to the outer with 5 small spots of silicon in a number five of a dice face formation with the centre point being where the tie out on the outer is in the middle of the rear.. doing it that way means I get the extra space but it is not permanent so I can still separate the inner and outer if required and So far thats not cause any issues with condensation affecting the inner and making it wet
@@BulldogBadger that's good then, thanks for the the info, I was going to modify it and fit my own toggles like the original ones but a bit shorter in length but enough to still aid ventilation, this would obviously have to be thought about properly because it would need sealing properly to and re water proofing, for now though I'm going to try self adhesive velcro strips and see how that fairs. Thanks for responding 👌🏻
@@Captainraskett1989 no problem, velcro would work if you got the good quality 3M stuff, and would be a lot nicer job then blobs of silicon like mine LOL
