Today is my fifth and last day here in Amsterdam.
The places I visited are as follows.
Number 1, Tivoli Doelen Hotel.
It is the oldest hotel in Amsterdam which used to be a shooting range.
Number 2, Smallest House in Amsterdam.
It sits on 110 square feet of land; the average American bedroom is 132 square feet.
I'd have to figure out where the kitchen, the bathroom, and the bedroom would go.
Number 3, Trippenhuis.
It is the largest house in Amsterdam.
Number 4, A Paternoster Elevator at Grand Hotel Amrâth.
It is an older type of elevator which does not come with doors or buttons.
It is also known as the elevator of death.
Number 5, House with Narrowest Façade in Amsterdam.
The reason for that was strange.
Number 6, Embassy of the Free Mind.
A place for people who prefer science over religion.
Number 7, Afternoon Tea at Waldorf Astoria.
A fancy tea at a fancy hotel, but the food was great too.
