How amazing is it that God is using your solo trip as an opportunity to draw others closer to Him? What He’s led you to share is drawing me to closer fellowship with Him and an increase hunger and thirst for His word and His word to be carried out as He’s willed.
Mary, wow.....I can only praise God because it's all Him. He is so faithful. And His promise is that as you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you (James 4:8). Praying His blessings upon you! 🙏🏾💚
Also, I love that you went natural with your hair. I stopped styling and dying mine a few months ago, after 30 years, and it is so liberating. Does not bother me a bit to be gray at this point in my life. God is so good! He is all that matters.

Beautiful! Praise God! Thanks for taking us on this journey with you. Solo travel can also be just getting alone with God because everyone can’t afford to travel but just to get that alone time to hear from God. Although the older I get, I’m enjoying solo travel and taking mini vacations to focus on myself and hear from God. No distractions!
I know that your walk with the Lord feels so incredibly intimate as you personally visit these sites!! This makes me want to make a list of locations in the bible and just visit them all!
And I have been waiting to hear some thing from you, where you are how you are traveling. It is a wonderful feeling when you in the same place as where the apostles was . When I went to Rome, it was magnificent. And my spirit was so joyful , to know I am in the same place as where Peter was to preach the word. There is a amazing feeling to have the word come alive as you are in the same country as where it all started. ❤❤❤❤

This year in BSF we have been studying the cray cray prophets and kings that lead the people of Israel and Judah astray. All of the idols! Seeing them in person is chilling. Folks if you have a chance, travel overseas to see some of these things and places. The Bible comes alive. In addition it’s amazing how the true prophets and the FEW good kings had such an uphill battle. When people say the Bible is not relevant to today, I can only say umph, umph, umph they certainly have not read it. Yep, idols are alive and well today.
Amen, Brenda....it's SO relevant today. And AMEN, 1 and 2 Kings (and 1 and 2 Chronicles) really highlight all of the idols. Such a great Cling study. :) Praise God for His word! 🙌🏾🙏🏾

So wonderful to see you posted another video. Glory ✝️. Oh my yes in reading the Word I had not seen or felt the enormity of the idol worship. Thank you so much for being obedient to guidance of the Holy Spirit. Amen in Him I have my being. This week I'm being drawn to prayer as my heart is tugging for my family, cities all are in & our nation. Oh just seeing Mars Hill with the acropolis towering high behind it I can see Paul there in my mind. The Spirit of God gave boldness to Paul to speak Truth. This scene you shared just brought me to the awe of our God working through Paul and you. I believe you & Bill were called to the university you are at to reflect the light of our Lord as the moon reflects the light of the sun. He hasn't left us nor given up on us. Even in my tiny town in my 70s I'm called to pray & share even with the few I speak to. The Spirit of God is with believers in Athens & every land He created calling us to the place we're in for this time. You are an example of yielding to the Holy Spirit as an example for me. Oh yes He's with us to get to the other side of what that represents in our life now & here. I'm grateful to God for you & your leading. There's an outpouring of the Holy Spirit and we only need to receive. Lord may I yield to you today & my tomorrow's. I'm not just standing on the rampart I'm stepping forward. Thank you again ✝️ 💕.

@@kimcashtate I may have to edit my post Sis. The few people I'm sharing with is some neighbors & a couple of people I've talked to in town. I mostly am home but as am still here by the grace of God I want to be a bit bolder. I have a neighbor who recently passed & I wasn't very bold sharing; I did share some of God's miracles in my life & my faith. In conversations outside walking my dog where he'd stop me to chat about his illness shared I believed the only way to the Father being through the Son, shared about Jesus but I never asked him if he wanted to receive Jesus. In hindsight I don't want to miss more opportunities. He had cancer was given a year & died days later. I'm not wording this well. As you mentioned we're surrounded by idols & I had moments of discouragement seeing news & stopped reading fb a while back seeing all the division, criticism and well just short of hatred for one another. I've been praying not just for our nation turning to God but leaders of other nations. So as I believe in the power of prayer am praying. I'm seeking truth in the Word asking the Holy Spirit to not only be the gatekeeper of my mind but a bridle on my tongue. Especially this lenten season am trying to fast from complaining & well dogging people, yes. So am praying. I continue to pray for my healing even though haven't seen it manifested am believing.
You are such an inspiration to me! I thank God for you! Jesus is our Lord and Savior- I am going strong in spreading the good news and spreading the love of Christ! Let the church come alive!
Kim when you say to cling to God do you mean Father God or/and Jesus who is also God. I am listening to 1 Samuel cling bible study and I think you do more than likely mean Father God. Just would feel that we should cling to both. Thank you. Love this vlog.
