@@Klodhvig luckily there’s a decent amount of D1 armor in D2 now so I don’t complain as much but still. I’d like to see all armor models from D1 come back.
It’s always a enjoyment to go back and play D1. I wanna get the exotics I haven’t got. I started playing D1 way to late and I can truly say I should of jumped on it when it came out
The amount of different and creative modifiers that exist on D1 leaves D2 on the dust, I've seen most of your D1 nightfall videos and almost always the modifiers are different, while in D2 well, the GMs always have the same ones or if they change it doesn't feel at all, I wish I could've been around when D1 was at its best :'D
Happy to take a closer look at Destiny 1. I had a full size poster for years now. Still need to hang that up. Will definitely be playing the 360 version.
I love how the enemies even though it's a nightfall still die with a 2 shots from a scout and abilities and supers actually kill in one hit. Wish the game was more like that..
because he went out of his way to match the modifiers. now solar burn is just like a 25% damage buff when in d1 it like more than doubled if i remember correctly.
Having started play in D2 and not being able to go back and play D1 thank you for doing these I can only hope that some more D1 Strikes are remastered into D2 so I can have some sort of experience with them
Saw you loading into combined arms. I wish D2 had those really long range maps that made you snipe and scout rifle. Pressing with vehicles which was a fun gimmick to the gameplay. Very under appreciated game mode they ended up scrapping. Now that it’s all just shoot, I’m sure players miss their vehicle pvp modes.
LOVE your content, lil tip tho, use cauterize on solar titan, it a life saver in more ways than one. Like at 1:46 - 1:58 it would have saved you. With cauterize every time you get a solar ability kill you basically get full health. Keep up the amazing content!!!!
Glad you enjoy the content! I had cauterize equipped but the exposure modifier in this Nightfall makes it so it doesn't regen health fully. Only like a smidgen of health per kill! You'll see a few instances in this video where cauterize does actually proc. At 3:51 you'll see what it looks like when it triggers on my melee!

Remember the days on where if the entire team wipes and everyone gets booted back into orbit during nightfalls that was an pain until it got sorted out with the taken king.

Correct me if I'm wrong; Literally never played D1 since D2 Forsaken launched, but it looks like: -Taken King Helmet (with Age of Triumph ornament) -The arms from the Rise of Iron packs from the Rise of Iron record book (with ornament) -Taken King Chest (with Age of Triumph ornament) -Bones of Eao -Lynx cloak; Cat cloak from Trials of Osiris (w/o ornament) -Some black shader (most probably a Dead Orbit shader)
@@Sanghalia you’re correct about all the gear, shader looks like the shimmer shader. It shades that tone of black on the gear he’s using, none of the blue shows on any of those pieces, could also be hallow but I’m fairly certain the bands on the gauntlets have a bit of color with hallow
@2:23, "Dude, I love Rasputin's voice." Ah, D1, when you could understand what Rasputin was saying in Russian, before his dialogue was made virtually unintelligible without subtitles in D2. Also, when he was just a single AI and not split into a bunch of different AI fragments like the Church AI from Red vs Blue for the sake of giving you more chores to do.
Destiny 1 hits different I get so sad being reminded of what I lost when d2 came out just don't hit the same anymore and is outright unaffordable for less content with the releases it feels like
Will you do a video using the Destiny 1 Queenbreaker? It's so much better then the Destiny 2 version and plays like what I would imagine a special ammo scoped Bow to play like. It's projectile based and hold a very good amount of ammo with a damage somewhere between scout rifle and sniper rifle.
I have been playing d2 since S18 (Plunder) and i have decided i like the old weapon system better. Such as Adept Raid weapons being exotic and in the primary slot is really unique. With all the crafting weapon meta, i wish adept weapons were like this. It would make adept weapons actually worth obtaining. Yes there are some downsides to this opinion kinetic weapons being almost useless.
We have a lot of groups and get together on the PlayStation side, a really nice and pretty large community, we got together today to scrim, we do sparrow racing, speedruns, carry’s, hide and seek, raids. Lots and lots of people actively participating.
I got a disc for the 360 last weekend, and I think I like it more than D2, but the only thing that I really don't like is how restrictive the game is without Xbox Live Gold. I neither have enough saved money, nor an income to continually pay for it. Maye in the future, who knows. All in all, I've come to enjoy D1 over D2.
Ppl talking Nostalgia and stuff as if this game is dead smh Even the PS3/ X360 version are still very much alive! I've been playing it on my PS3 DAILY for over 18 months now and it's always full of friends to play with, almost always there are at least 7 to 10 friends during the day and at night between 20-30 it's still a blast running heroic strikes, challenge of elders, and raids
Probably it's good Destiny 1 never came out on PC, cause at this point I wouldn't have a life. Fortunately I can watch what masterpiece of game it was.

love ur d1 vids man! if i still had an xbox i would for sure be only playong d1. Armor looks way better and it required so much more skill. D2 is just a different game at this point. still fun but not the OG Destiny
as someone who never playted d1, its fucking appalling seeing that this too is old content, what the fuck did bungie do thats new since Forsaken? nothing. Absolutely nothing.
@@iranoutofusernameideas7438 honestly agree, still log on almost daily. stare at the lame ass desitnation screen filled with empty planets with nothing to do, usually turn it back off after 10 mins.
