As far as Vince coming back, I think the Showrunner analogy you made a few months back fits perfectly here. Vince is at that IDGAF age and it shows how the storytelling and booking are meant for his amusement rather than the people he's supposed to be catering to, the fans. I think what a lot of people don't realise is that WWE is a publicly traded company and as such Vince McMahon just can't waltz back in if he feels like it. He would need approval from the vast majority of the current WWE board of directors who would have to hold a vote to decide whether or not to reinstate him.

I think back to Triple H's heart problems that led to surgery and wonder if all the mounting frustration at having his NXT brand snatched away by Vince McMahon, all his ideas while part of WWE Creative vetoed, scrutinized and altered considerably by that old, out of touch geezer contributed to it. WWE has slowly been regaining the trust of their alienated fans ever since Vince has been gone. If he comes back, even in just a creative role, it would be a disaster. We would be right back to 3-week pushes, amnesia booking, squashing the young talent to make the part timers look good etc. Hopefully, Vince stays gone.

With this I can understand why Sasha opted to not come back, Vince will never truly be gone unless he passes on, and this should serve as a reality check for alot of wrestlers who wanna all flock to WWE, while things seem much better now all it takes is this situation to go away and Vince will be eyeing on taking up his position at WWE again, undoing the current work HHH been striving todo getting the wrestlers in their best form, shits sad really

For me I don’t understand why he’s ever wanna come back. I’m a young fan born may 2 2000 so I grew up in the ruthless aggression era and from what I’ve seen in my 22 years of life is that Vince doesn’t care about pro wrestling or the fans, he seems to hate it so why does he wanna get back involved so much? He’s a billionaire in his late 70s and he seems to hate everything pro wrestling so why bother coming back? I just don’t get it, if you hate the job then don’t go back just retire

I think it is very important to pick up on what Solomonster correctly said at the beginning of this video; Vince McMahon gave his RESIGNATION. He categorically DID NOT RETIRE. There IS a difference.
