Thanks for the explanation. For some reason on VB version 7.0.14 with the extension pack installed and macOS host and Win 10 guest, the usb device is still not recognized. I have followed the exact steps, could there be any other issue or something wrong I have done? Could it also be possible that the main issue is not yet fixed by Oracle?

Does not work for me. After I install the extension pack and go to Settings - Ports - USB the options are greyed out so I cannot change from USB 1.1 to USB 2.0. What could I be doing wrong?
