LOL that you use glitches instead of playing normally and figuring out how the depths and the surface connect. Here’s a dislike your propagandist. Think for yourself.
I remember Subnautica had some pretty wild stuff like that earlier in it's development. I wasn't able to play the game at that point but I got to watch markiplier discover and explore those places
the tunnels in central hyrule seems to be a dev error when I think they’re using an automated script to draw the map based on the terrain and forgot to remove those. As later versions remove those tunnels.
Yeah that was my assumption too. I actually tried look for maybe apart of another wall that may match it. but I couldnt find one. not that a looked very long.
For some reason this video gives me huge subnautica vibes being out of bounds in the depths, it's like an entire other world under hyrule that's just totally empty and dead... What a great halloween video!
YEEEES im SO happy someone talked about those weird tunnels on the map, its bothered me since day 1 and i couldnt find anything underneath even after going out of bounds, im so glad that you managed to find it
that tree is so fascinating, it took a few things going exactly right (or wrong?) to make it happen. i love when games do that, and thanks for showing us!
So glad this video got suggested to me. Never watched one of yours before and OMG those tunnel things under Hyrule castle on the map have always annoyed the hell out of me! On my first playthrough I was convinced they were the path to find Ganondorf and spent WAY too long trying to get in somehow 😂 thanks! Got a subscribe 😁
This video got randomly recommended to me. Loved it. The editing is very simplistic, commentary is easy to listen to, and everything is just very well put together! Subbed and excited for the next video!
I found your channel yesterday on the glitching something into the title screen video. That was impressive. At least from someone who's never preform any of those glitches. Good job.
thank you. i spent HOURS trying to figure out what that weird protrusion was on the minimap lmfaoo. i even found that one tree too, but never went to it
There is also a depths tree floating out of bounds in the depths by the great Deku Tree chasm. Also one question I have (because I have an updated version with patched clipping out of bounds) can you place a travel medallion on the weird landmasses that used to show up on the map?
Yknow, if were being realistic, that tree is most likely there because nintendo devs needed something to base the giant evil ganon tree off of, but then just forgot to delete it lmao.
Hey nice content. Is there any chance you could use a tool to make Link/camera fly everywhere to see the cutscenes map? I actually wonder if there is a chnace to move around with link, if there isn't could you at least move the camera around to see what's behind the things they show you, like the inside of the castle maybe there are more interesting details and more importantly in the last tear it would be cool to see the outside of the first hyrule csstle. There is a piece that comes up while Zelda walks to the altar, I wonder if the creators made the entire thing and I would love to see the exterior design.
I wonder if the coliseum dome is due to the terrain on the surface. Are they all in spots that are pits on the surface? Especially the one under the surface coliseum, which would be a big “dent” in the ground, making a mound in the depths
dude i had forgotten i had joined the channel and was completely taken off guard by my name being said at the end of the vid!!!!!!! very good video tho
If I understand correctly, Link's position is a float, not an int... and float resolution gets more coarse with distance from origin. He'd probably just fall until the distance per frame was less than the float resolution, and then get stuck.
@@lilium724 I'm sure there are coverted. But assuming that Link will be stuck due to floating point precision, the display of the coordinates will as well.
@@gragogflying-anvil3605 I was thinking since the max value for a float is significantly higher than for an int, you could still reach an integer overflow before being stuck in place
I assume it's underground somewhere, and the middle of the map is not its location. So it would be neat to clip outta bounds to at least figure out where it is. But that seems impossible without mods cuz you don't have anything to overload the collision with the ground that early.
I wonder if you kept falling down out of bounds, if the camera would start to freak out, similar to how it does in Super Mario Odyssey? That would probably take forever though.
huh, interesting. when you say subscribe in the video the subscribe button got a rainbowey outline. is that a new thing or am I just blind? also is it video side or is it like the captions ai or something?
I was really hoping that those tunnel looking things were going to be entrances to the most epic gauntlet since the wind waker gauntlet and trial of the sword master mode! Im so disappointed that there isn't at least 1 gauntlet. And it would have been so awesome if they had a cavern where all the guardians went to and you could go down there and practice combat on tons of them! And what if they had like a guardian builder where you could design and build new guardians to fight against! Or use to battle with? Oh Zelda games, always leave us wanting more lol ❤
@@godcat_thing But what about an enemy gauntlet like trial of the sword? Or the windwaker enemy gauntlet? Those were amazing and so well done. Why doesn't TOTK have an enemy gauntlet? They could have done an amazing one!
Finally! Finally I know what those weird places in the depths are. I'm a bit disappointed that it's just left out of bounds but now I don't have to waste more time getting there.
You can see it in the army fight! I actually looked at one point and found nothing so I wrote it off for like a few months but I looked again and found it!
While I get What you Mean, in Really wouldn't Be anything Chatgpt related, Since That Can only Generate text, Or emojis. No maps. Pretty sure They used An algorithm, Which wouldn't Be powered By an "A.I."
I did actually mention that but I cut it out. They 100% used some sort of algorithm to add character to the depths. I would imagine I would have found more than just that one tree, but I couldnt.
@@dr.blockcraft6633 Maybe wrong word, just some sort of AI or script, but what I meant is no human involved, just went by data and guessing what humans want to see by knowing of other maps.
@@Timberwolfee Thanks, yeah, I think you imply that later after I made my comment, that it was generated from data, and based on what people should see/want to see.
Interesting fact! Those chat bots aren’t actually ai. They’re an algoritm themselves. I forget what the actual term is, but it’s not really an “intelligence” that they use.
