Chris, thank you for making an amazing video of this Puzzle! I had such a great time creating it! And thanks for getting caught up in all of the distractions! I will definitely be sending you more soon...
@Luci K OP meant as in Chris drives to Dan to pick it up, not Dan drives to Chris (if that's what you meant); on a side note he may not like putting himself out there but would assume he has some respect for Chris considering he did just send him a custom piece and announced his plans for a second one, so it might be like meeting an idol for him
This is what makes me have hope for humanity. Most days I run into people who are angry and sad and just depressed and it’s just sad most days but I get home and watch videos like this and it give my soul a smile and makes my day seeing the joy others bring in people lives out of the kindness of their hearts. They aren’t asking for anything in return or expecting something they are being caring and kind they are passing it forward. I feel like if everyone did at least 1 thing each day out of pure love and kindness they would help brighten their days.
@@daggern15 I was thinking more in terms of jacking up the house and rotating it, but the easier solution is of course to build a spinning wall inside the house, a lot cheaper as well.. to be fair both are somewhat expensive though. With the spinning wall you could actually make it spin both horizontal and vertical though which would be a lot harder with the "jacking up the whole house and putting it on a truck trailer"-solution.
@@vir042 Both of your way are a lot more complicated than my ferris wheel idea. Even simpler: jack up a car, attach the puzzle to the wheel and spin it from there and it's up to you if you want to use the power of the car to spin the puzzle faster
@@SamChampagneNYC im guessing english is not there first language and they couldn't think of the word allowance , so they just described it instead lol
Excatly! Brilliant woodwork combined with modern keys and mechanism in it which blowed my mind! So good puzzle I'm waiting for something bigger level 10 from this guy! He is taking it serious
@@QuasiELVIS That's called opening up and speaking from a place of insecurity. The guy has PTSD which can be debilitating. His effort and note show that he is working on breaking out from the fear and doubt that he is dealing with and that is a very positive move. Comments like yours have no place in society. Who cares if the guy is or isn't gay anyways? That comment makes you sound like someone who has their own insecurities honestly. He's a fan of this site as you are clearly or you wouldn't be posting here and he clearly has talent. Grow up!
That was so cool. Thank you Chris, for sharing Dan's puzzle with us and for supporting him- as well as taking a chance on him. I too am an Army Vet. and have struggled with service related PTSD for 11 years now, and so often people hear PTSD and think that we are broken and won't take chances on us. Or they pity us, and baby us as a result- and sometimes, that's worse. Your treated Dan like a human being, and that's everything to someone in his shoes. Dan- I hope you see this- I feel your struggle. Woodwork is an outlet for me as well- and anytime I can make cards or puzzles, or both part of that- I do. It makes everything I make feel like an extention of myself. Thank you for sharing part of yourself with us, through Chris. Hang in there- we all know that it never goes away, but it does get better- you just proved it.
Shashin Masuta Smoke some weed or use some CBD. It’ll ease some of the anxiety a lot of veterans come back with. Thank you for your service sir, you sacrificed your life and well being for me and my families sake and I cannot thank you enough. Much love
As a person who got PTSD from child abuse and sexual violence I really try to understand people who CHOOSE to do a Job where they should know from the first place that they can end up with PTSD. And I don't think that there is anything good on fighting in an war with no sense at all. So it's hard for me to have pity with vets who went to war to ATTACK another country.
@FlwrBoi OK, so you want to tell me that a 6 year old child choose by themself to get raped? And how do you know I did not report it. You can't just do anything if grown ups don't believe what you tell them. your comparison sucks. and pls tell me why your life depend on bombing Iraq or other Middle Eastern countries? If another army starts a war on the ground you live on, then everyone who defends you has my biggest respect. But to burn down another nation thousands of Miles away from your home does NOT deserve respect and has nothing to do with protection or saving lifes.
Thank you Dan the gift for Chris ended up being a gift for all of us, best wishes th you Dan from the UK and thank you in helping to keep the good people safe.
I love how watching you solve problems, give things time, and work through them has helped with my anxiety. I know when I’m struggling that sometimes life just has hard parts and if I keep thinking and trying and flipping things on their head that I can get passed them.
@@dan00017 I just want to say I totally get what you mean about how some people can just be awful. I am still looking for my tribe but it helps to know I'm not the only person who feels that way.
Dan is a awesome inventor and craftsman. What a neat puzzle. Hand in there Dan I'm a Vietnam Vet . And i suffered for over 20 years before the VA doctors recognized and started treating me for what is now known as PTSD . And I still have issues. I am not where i want to be. But I'm better than I once way. Awesome job figuring this one out Chris. Keep up the good videos my friend. Always and pleasure watching.
One of my favorite videos so far. Dan you are awesome brother. You have a real skill for puzzle making. I really feel you could go somewhere with it if you chose. Look forward to seeing Chris try to figure out the next one.
good thing no glass parts were on top when he pushed the up button, lol. "I'll just set the magnetic glass lid on top while I try this button keychain..." it does seem like potential moments for breakage. glad it went well.
That was awesome. thank you to the maker of this puzzle, and thank you for your service. Thank you for putting yourself out there like this by sending sending Chris your puzzle. I have only been watching his videos for a few days, but definitely nothing is more satisfying than watching him solve the puzzle, unless I was doing it. lol. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time or the money to buy some of the more ornate ones, I will definitely continue to watch Chris’s channel and look forward to seeing your second puzzle. Kris
What a beautiful and thoughtful gift. You can tell that you’ve really made an impact on the community. Thank you Dan for your service and sacrifice to our country! I’ll be praying for your continued recovery and for blessing you with such an amazing talent and mind to put all of this together!
Been super into your puzzle videos lately as a way to unwind after my long work days and stressful weeks This one hit a little different with Dan's story and how personal this way as he made it just for you. I adore this puzzle and how you can customize it for your own home or bar!
Dude as soon as you found the remote and pressed on it I was just as excited! so cool to be able to watch and be amazed by these videos! keep them going.
Wow. Absolutely incredible. Simple puzzle with one of the coolest reveals I've seen in any puzzle. My mouth literally fell open when the top opened I was so surprised. Great job Dan in making such a cool puzzle that is also an amazing piece of art. Chris you keep on inspiring and bringing joy and I hope this continues for many many years. Truly amazing and heartwarming. Thank you.
