Every single Saturday afternoon I look for cricket results - and it’s not North Yorkshire Premier results or my local team or even my 1st team back in Ireland. The first game I’m looking for is yours-it’s really difficult to find the words to describe just how utterly wondrous this set of RU-vid clips are. They show everything that’s good about the game (and occasionally what’s bad about it. I absolutely mean it when I say I’d rather watch this sort of game than a test match as this is the type of cricket I grew up playing and I miss it terribly. Thanks for a brilliant season , have a great autumn/winter and I can’t wait for next season.

Brilliant Walton on a superb season (how fast did that go!?) and congratulations on the league title! Have enjoyed watching! I keep pointing out the Walton le Wolds to my family whenever we drive by, usually on the way to a running event. The stock reply is "So?" to which I reply "the cricket team on RU-vid' and they forget until the next time. PS. Made my long-awaited cricketing comeback this season after an 8 year absence, partly inspired by you. Mirrored some of the videos - 1 win, 1 loss: 25 not out, then a duck: 6-2-2-2 in two short spells with the worst balls taking the wickets!

I feel honoured to have been mentioned by Slam Dunc. At least he took my comments in good spirit, exactly how it should be. Bison as donkey of the season seems a bit harsh but as he gets out to the same shot every time he bats, I have to agree. I do have to ask, in what world can I team win the game when they lose by 48 runs, surely this has to be looked at by the league? Get in the nets over the winter and I'll wait for the compilation.

One thing you can definitely fix with your technique i noticed just from this video, when your defending straight down the wicket, your front foot is angled across your body towards the offside. Try & get that front foot straight & see how much better you should be hitting the ball as hour not playing around your front foot then. Good season walton, looking forward to 2024! I’m not sure I’ve ever seen shithousery of that level before. Hard to imagine the penalty runs wouldn’t be appealed to the league. Absolutely terrible form to try and claim any sort of delay of play penalties without official umpires. We had a game that ran too long thanks to some medical issues (not serious, just delaying), we handled the delay wrong and just called it a draw when it got dark with five overs to go and the game in the balance.

Dunno who the other fella is commentating but he should just stick to keeping quiet 😂
