The blue combination of the coconut yarn is my favorite of the colors. I’ve not seen them in person. You are right, I don’t see swatches in big box stores anymore.
I wonder if there are just not people available to make the swatches like there used to be. I just remember back in the day every other yarn would have one hanging in front of it. Thank you for watching and commenting 💙
I want to try the coconut cakes but 1 cake for now to see if I like them. I bought the carousel cakes but the ombre hues is not for me. ❤ i have the cinnamon swirl cakes.
Those Ombre Hues are just gorgeous, but I gave them a hard NO when I saw "hand wash, dry flat" as I was thinking 'bkanket' in relation to them. If I think of something smaller, I'll probably pick some up. The Coconut Cakes didn't impress, maybe bc I would be more inclined to want solids in that type of yarn (other than white...,). I'll see how that develops. I really don't get the need for the weedy little fringe as I think it just looks messy. Maybe I'd feel different if it was kind of floofy like latte cakes. It is soft, though. My Michael's didn't have the other Loops & Threads yarn, maybe next time I go. I OCCASIONALLY see a swatch, but nothing like there used to be... Have a great day. 🐞
Oh man, I didn’t see the care instructions on the ombré hues. I was going to make a sweater for our granddaughter, but I probably won’t now. Thank you for the heads up on that I appreciate it. ❤️
@@SpiffyHandmade NP They're gorgeous, but for something that looks like it is a baby yarn, those care instructions suck big time. I've been messed over by Loops and Threads baby yarns before, so now I always check... Have a great day. 🐞
