Gotta say, you’re claws are the best I’ve seen anywhere really. I had the wolverine claws for a while but I unfortunately broke them after a few years after I got them, but they were the coolest things ever. Kudos to you man.
Well, I like the shape of the new 'The Wolverine' claws but I really like how the 'Origins' style claws wrap over the knuckles so it is hard to choose a favorite cause I like them both for different reasons. ;)

I just received my Wolverine/Logan set and put them together. They are hands down the best movie replica props out there. Best part is you can adjust your set to fit your hand perfect as if the claws were coming out of your hands. Amazing job! Now if you could put these out in aluminum that’d be awesome.
I seriously love them. "The Wolverine" style has really grown on me. But I love how "Wolverine" cause of how the look like they're tearing a little higher through the top of your hand.
I had looked all over the internet for a perfect pair of the wolverine movie (2013) replica claws and all I could were the x men origins style claw (I guess I could not find any because the movie only just came out in July) but thanks to you I found the right claws I wanted and I've had them and they are the best claw replicas I've ever seen and they are the wolverine (2013) movie style.

Dark Matter Props my Dad and I bought the TW/DOFP Wolverine Claws and the XO Origins Wolverine Adamantium Procedure Dog Tags. On the site it would say it would take 5-7 days for the tags but 3-4 weeks for the claws and I'm a little bit confused. Can you give me some clarification please?
The tags are in stock and ready to ship but the claws are made to order so they take longer. We will ship them at the same time if ordered together or we can ship them separately (if you wanted the tags faster for some reason) if the items were ordered separately. I do not maintain an inventory. I make all the claws by hand so it does take some time to do so therefore I make the claws as I get the orders. I wouldn't mind building up a small inventory but I have a waiting list of people that want them and I can only make them so fast, lol.
Yeah, A lot of people feel the same way. I think they wanted to set this movie apart from the others. I think that is one of the major reasons. The director made some comments on it in an interview. He basically said that they saw some claws that looked like this in a comic book and though that it matched Logan's personality better and also that the new design catches the light in interesting ways. ;)

I like both styles for different reasons. I have to agree that the new design is very eye catching and it doesn't hurt the hands quite as much while the old style is a little easier to hold. well, in the sense that they are claws that are made of adamantium and come out of his hands... yes they are pretty much the same. The difference is in the design of the claw blade and the location that it 'comes out' of his hands.
Hello Mike, For your TW-DOFP claws, is it possible to decrease the spread between the blades to bring them closer together? Maybe during assembly. Hopefully my question makes sense.
Yes, that is totally under your control. You can make them spread as wide or as close as you want. The official movie width is 4.75 inches from the tips of each outer claw.
I was just about to ask if you had made "The Wolverine"'s version of the claws in another video. I prefer the detail of those claws, but unfortunately they aren't 'over' the knuckle like the Origins ones are. Nice job adding the small lip on those for a similar effect. Unfortunately I've never liked the bone claw design in the movies. I've always thought a straighter, bird-like talon or animal claw design would look better than the bumpy design. Of course, excellent quality on all of them. These props have always seemed pretty shaky to me, but yours look very sturdy and are easily the highest quality aesthetically that I've seen.
The bumpu design is so they can resemble bone fingers. I suppose it's because they are mutations of his fingers and his mutation used some of the DNA from his anatomy, specifically his fingers. Thus the resemblance. Smoother bird talon-like claws are more of sabretooth's thing. Also, his claws aren't bumpy looking when they're covered in adamantium so l suppose that it's more of a way to further differentiate the claw looks.
when I get my RU-vid account up and running again I will make sure to do a full review on the wolverine claws because they are so awesome so keep an eye out for that video, ok. P.S. to anyone who has not got a pair get them ! They are better than any other on the internet and they a just to any bodies sized hand brilliant.
Do you know why the design changed for The Wolverine movie? I can't decide which version of the metal claws I want, I like Origins and The Wolverine! Which one do you prefer?
I am about to order my friend to make the claws with real steel so which one will u think will be better?because as u've said the origins gives illusion looks so shall I order for origins style claws? :)

I commend you for the wonderful job you have done. Here is a suggestion though: many of us have no money. If i did, i would buy a pair. These claws get more attention from teens or kids then adults. Why not do a contest? Come up with somthing for all to be able to participate and have three winners each win one kind of claw. Or have one winner get a choice of claws. But again, great work.

Yeah, that has been requested a few times. A hybrid would be a little challenging since the Origins style is flat on top and The Wolverine style has a sharp edge. I have been giving some thought to making one though. Stay tuned for updates.
Check out my Etsy Store under dark matter props for listings of my items. Depending on how tight you get the fit of the calls you may not need to make a fist in order for them to stay on your hands although they do look better when you have your hand in a fist.
