On pc i hate the button layout cause i know many times i need to roll to the side but can't as i can't press W+space+F with one hand and the moment you put the keys to something else you die a million times due to the need of getting used to the keys 🙄 Anyway on console its not hard to roll to the sides and thank fuck for that.

I felt a similar thing after beating Malenia. I beat her before doing the end game boss fights in Leyndell. It was smooth sailing through Gideon, Godfrey and Radagon. The Elden Beast was a bit of a speed bump because I frequently couldn't see what attacks he was doing due to all of the stuff it would spam, but it was still so much easier by comparison.

Frankly I dont understand why they shoved it in, previous DLC´s were all scaled for late game, in DS 1 you needed the lordvessel, DS 2 DLC was accessed through Black Gulch, Iron Keep and Shrine of Winter respectively, Bloodborne allowes you entry early but still welcomes you with a beefy hunter and if you defeat him then the entire hit squad that you would be scratching down for a long time.DS3 again, nun is after the cathedral and the ringed city is straight up before the final boss. The design choices are mind boggling, Elden Ring was their first venture into sandbox, they started prepping up the dlc and realized that their scaling model sucks so they shoved in the new leveling system to mitigate the damage.

This is fromsoft's first open world game so I guess they just didn't know how to scale the DLC properly and tried something new. Personally I don't mind it even if on later runs it's annoying to collect all of the skibidi fragments again

to be fair, popping a crimsonwhorl bubbletear made his second phase a lot easier, basically a giant fuck you to half of his attacks

I dont mind dodging 4-5 times before attacking, it forces you to actually learn instead of jump attack spaming Sure dlc bosses are more like 6-7 rolls but it doesnt really change the fight. You spot a 6 attack combo, dodge accordingly and then punish. It harder to learn but once you figure it out, just do it again. Messmers big attack in p1 goes, wait for him to be up in the air, roll forward on the spin, wait, roll forward of the thrusts, roll forward twice to dodge the explosion and spears. Every big attack becomes an opportunity.

Genuinely I love watching the animations I think their neat but I do feel as if they should have longer recovery frames this game has so many cool spells, ashes, and combo chains but you can barely use most of them cause the boss has such short recovery frames especially the final boss with some of his heavier hitting attacks that feel like he should linger on a bit longer.

for starters he didnt have tiche. splitting aggro on a boss significantly changes the fight. and perhaps there was some rng involved that continually fucks him with the blackgaol knight.

how do ppl get so messed up by the blackgaol knight ? he just tests your basic gameplay stuff like if you are somewhat good at positioning, baiting out atks, dodge timing and stunlocking thats it. it is endgame DLC content one should be somewhat capable to handle stuff like these

@@dare2333 Nah go back to DS1, bosses there didn't have these kinds of numbers until around NG++, and it was possible to use any kind of build if you knew what you were doing. It's not like the bosses here are impossible, but they're way overtuned for base difficulty.

Right I struggled so much with rellana but blackgaol was piss easy. My mate took over 5 hours to kill putrscent knight and I first tried him. Everyone has their own unique experience it’s nuts.

I honestly don't know how the DLC is winnable without fast dex weapons, the bosses NEVER STOP ATTACKING. You don't have time to swing a heavy weapon even once. I also had to switch my build and ended up using the generic beast claws with the ash that lets you dodge and then attack from the air.

@@SkeleTonHammer i did most of it dual wielding 2 colossal weapons :3 jumping attacks and stagger work pretty great ^_^ although i did also use some dual wield twin blades, also mostly jump attacking :P

​@@SkeleTonHammerwell unless you are a spell caster and dont hav 10 endurance block guard conunter is extremely op with the poise cracked tear you just need two to three counters to poise break you dont even need a shield for it.

​@@SkeleTonHammer In my experience playing with the greatsword on a RL150, 50 Vigor, 30 Endurance and the rest full strength build, it's very much winnable, it's been basically the same as the base game where it seems like bosses won't stop attacking, but once they finish their combos there's plenty of time for a charged attack

@@tragiic333 fr , i went from suffering as an int build to breezing through everything on a melee build. i'm convinced people who think magic is easy mode have only ever seen a comet azur cheese. ironically, i find it easier to just play 10vig mage because unless you overlevel bc you're never going to get the vigor you need when you have 5 stats to balance and 3 talisman slots taken by damage boosting. better to give up on vigor and focus on mind end and dex with those points

Jesus christ, I think I would rather kill myself haha. I honestly don't know how souls players do this shit. I tried playing the first souls and struggled with it realizing its the first fighting game I've played that forces you into 3rd person (alright you caught me, besides Smashbros melee). Having to wait for 3rd person animations are painful and it felt just soooo painfully slow!!!! It sucks cuz I would like to be immersed in the story, apparently it's good right, but I can't do it. Oh and KH, I started trying to replay KH1 on my PC and the keyboard controls are cancerous lol
