@@n01rsc3n3 oh god it beats that pathetic modern practice of cutting and editing for the audience that has no attention span. where it disappears and another appears a millisecond later after the video is cut off.
Here's what we should do: crowdfund one of those frozen head contracts for Tim, so when he dies (knock on wood) there is a chance to resurrect him when we unlock the mysteries of eternal life, and let him collect toys all around the universe for a billion years.
Tim you are lucky one to have so many retro toy.Today we don't get it anywhere, today we only have Chinese toxic plastic toy. So takes so much time to search for safe and unique toys for kids.
The apple and arrow...I have the life sized version, made in Church Brampton, England.Bought 20 years ago and its a real talking peice. The man that made it, told me the way he makes them is that the apple is made from any hardwood, the arrow is any softwood, that is then soaked for weeks/a couple of months until it becomes malible. It is then squeezed and pushed through the hole, made in the hardwood apple, allowed to dry and then carved.2 solid peices. it still fascinates me :)
Tim got really close to start swearing at the magnet die there "Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh...really close now" It's okay Tim, you can call it a bitch. We still love you.
I'm trying to find out more about that type of magnetic puzzle box, but I'm struggling to find any information about them through searches. Does anyone know if they go by a particular name? Thanks!
DuneDemon8 is right. There are quite a few trinkets like this, which can be all cut from one piece of wood. I think it would be a better trick if the arrow was longer so you could inspect the entire length of it and see that it is solid, not glued together.
I'd have thought that particular arrow is two pieces because it doesn't show the shaft. If you made it out of one piece it would seem counter-productive to paint the apple. Plus the point seems to have thin blades which could screw in easily with the soaking method.
Can that alumin disc really aligned to earth's magnetic field. Like a compass? It seems too heavy, would've been nice to see it align with a compass. Also probably could've used a magnet to align it.
heh, a beer can rubics cube. neat. anyone else remember those star wars ones they had in the 90s/early 2000s? think they came in boxes of cereal or something lol. probably worth something now... wonder what I did with them.
Favorite tin wind-ups video? Lol been thinking. Have y'all ever thought about opening a PO box? So fans can send Tim their novelties/toys? It would expand this channels life time...not that it needs it. I'm sure Tim still has thousands of toys left...but it's just a suggestion.
Am I the only one that caught the vertical seem in the apple between 2:33 and 2:34 when he spins it and again at 2:41? Watch it at 1/4 speed and you can see it easier.
