Was in suspense for what sound Tim would make finally at the end. "Heh!" didn't seem likely. I expected a breathy "wowww!", but he has other noises in is repertoire as well. I won't ruin the surprise for you if you're browsing the comments.
Same here. I was mildly impressed by the drawing and was expecting for the election to be underwhelming. But when I saw it I had to exclaim, "Holy sh*t!"
jogiff My surprise was lost because it was clear it was the picture in the thumbnail, but the result was fantastic. Like most of Tim's things, it's amazing but ephemeral and if not for him sharing it, it would be mostly forgotten.
I wonder if that sort of picture has been done as a floor and a reflective pillar. Would imagine it to be pretty impressive, if it works at that scale.
I've known a few ladies who kept "zoom scopes" in their bedroom dressers. But they never had any picture tubes that I saw. I wonder where they kept them.
The look of absolute disbelief and astonishment at 9:46. It makes me so happy. I think I saw him mouth the word, “Impossible..” at some point. So wholesome.
Thank you for showcasing the brilliant art of Istvan Oroz. He's one of the most incredible artists I've ever seen in my life and I've appreciated his work since the 6th grade.
I love that he put the parabolic mirror to his ear. Who would have thought of doing that? And then he proceeds to explain the sensation of heat from doing that. I love Tim.
nice... that start button at the, well... start, we had one at home when I was very young. I was mesmerized by it. A red light on memory lane. Tanks mister Tim.
I just felt like saying that I was in an incredibly dark place earlier this year, and it was your videos that were able to give me a small piece of distraction from the pain I was going through.
7:31 A "Zoom Scope" I never heard of this, it's really quite fascinating. Would love to see how they create such a drawing. I wonder if they draw it while viewing the reflection, rather than the paper.
"Tim looks over his vast drug empire realising how far he has come, and how many people bow down do his very feet. But he hasn't paid the Russian maifia and he knows they are coming after him. Any day now he know the Russian mafia will make him kick the bucket and in his honour he decides to do one last line and finally. One, last, heh."
Tim, you may wanna change the thumbnail, it seriously looks like you're doing a line of coke. Other than that, your collection continues to impress and amaze me.
I remember my friend had one of those spinning disks featured at the end. me and a group of other people were all tripping on acid when he set the disk off, I felt a strange feeling of being out of breath because i couldn't determine when it was going to stop (i still felt it watching the disc during this video!) but when it eventually stopped, there was a great feeling of silence and emptiness that i can't fully describe. I must get myself one of those things.
