I think that wasn't stupid -- she's clearly in a built-up area, and perhaps the sun at that moment was so low in the sky that she needed the extra height to see it over a building. What is stupid, though, is looking at the sun without adequate eye-protection.

It's called searing. It locks in the juices to prevent the meat from drying out during roasting. For tougher meat, you braise the meat, which requires the same first step, and then it's cooked in liquid inside a pan with a lid. On the stove, or in the oven.

Theres just 52 weeks in a year, it’s not that complicated? Simplify it a bit if you need to but 2000 divided by 50 is 40, so it’s pretty close.

6:03 The mail for our neighborhood uses boxes like this and I've had similar things happen. We had to cut the package to get the stuff out more than once. Same with our PO Box at the post office.

One year, during a heavy storm, our street flooded to a depth of nearly 3 feet. One of my friends has a Blazer with 3 foot tall tires and was crossing the flood and nearly flooded out his engine. Sitting behind him was a guy in a BMW watching the whole thing. As he started to traverse the flood, his car stalled. He then gets out of the car and the water hits his battery completely shorting out the car. My wife, a police officer, was furious as she approached him (now his car is turning into a boat and starting to float away)...all I could do is laugh at him and yell, "what did we learn?" He was almost in tears as he snapped at my wife saying, "I just destroyed my BMW, no need to yell at me!"
