I'm ex British Army. Was at a funeral yesterday for an old muckers who saw my hand up as a hand out and killed himself with drink. Listening to that made cry Alex. First time in a long time. God bless you brother. Not for the playing but the voice. RIP to all our fallen, from care homes to the homeless. Thank you.
I hope the Police officers who broke into his home for no reason and caused him so much stress are watching this. Doesn't he look like a madman who wants to blow up the BBC? I bet they wish they had one ounce of his talent. As Mr Alex says.....shame on them.
Dear Alex, you made me cry. I said goodbye to my dad recently . I loved him ,he raised us alone having lost my mum aged 22 . I feel so much for anyone who has to say that final goodbye. Bless your truthfulheart
After an afternoon of tears and feeling totally drained seeing Her Majesty and Charles looking so choked up and lonely, this really cheered me up. Well done Alex 👏👏👏
Beautiful. Simply Beautiful. Stay strong Alex. Don't give up hope. We have your back and we stand beside you. I am not sure if you believe in God but God Bless You and all of your Family and Friends. Thank you for sharing these amazing videos with us all out here in the world 🌎. God Loves You. We will never surrender to the tyrants and tyranny and lies. Never. United we stand, divided we fall. Hope you have a Blessed day 🙏. Support and Love from Dartmouth Nova Scotia Canada 🇨🇦.
@@threadbear7609 not obeyed anything that comes out of the lying governments yap. No way. Our so called leader here in Canada is a failed drama teacher, no lie. And the health minister is a guy in drag. It's laughable really.
@@Kevin-Murphy-007 Failed _substitute_ drama teacher. Few, I think, can make this claim. And the spitting image of his biological Cuban father. Truly one of a kind.
That was lovely Alex. What a sensitive soul you are . Thank you for being so loyal and patriotic. Most of us love having a Royal Family...especially the Queen and today our hearts went out to her standing there all alone after losing her husband of 73 years for goodness sake! They don't make 'em like that anymore.
@@williamredpath861 I agree William! I feel more for the elderly people who have had a hard life & were left to choose between heating or eating etc! I feel especially for the elderly & other people in hospitals & care homes who have died & their spouses & loved ones were kept away from seeing them because off lockdown & they were left to die & often alone!🥺
@@lindylou5922 Absolutely, totally agree, all of this whilst these entitled parasites took £70 Million in tax payers money for simply existing. I simply don't understand why this lot are not held to account!
@@williamredpath861 Kings cost less than Presidents and add folklore. How many people visit England because it has this "je ne sais quoi" due to the fact that it is a kingdom with all its regalia, pomp and circumstance? Tourism brings a lot of money to the United Kingdom. Without its traditions, Royal Family and folklore the United Kingdom would just be a rainy, grey and boring place. Beautiful music, Alex, thank you.
@@elisabethdemoreaudandoy478 The buildings and tourist attractions aren't going anywhere, the Royals don't present themselves to tourists so the whole tourist argument is just a nonsense. People visit Edinburgh for example as it has a castle steeped in history that overlooks the city. The royal Mile for example has Edinburgh Castle at the top and Holyrood palace at the bottom. People go to see beautiful historic cities for it's vibe and history and the Royal family have nothing to do with that. They are in current society and as explained don't present themselves to tourists. Also during a pandemic where tourism has been sparce it's fair to say they definitely have nothing to do with it. Let's face it, they took £70 Million in Tax payers money during a pandemic, where's the "je ne sais quoi" in that? Where's the "je ne sais quoi" in protecting a criminal that sexually abuses minors? The very notion of being born into power of a country is ludicrous. And as for folklore, sorry The royals are desperately trying modernise to stay relevant, just look at the whole Harry and Meghan nonsense, Royal social media accounts etc. Harry and meghan for example have been trying to cash in on the Royal name with Netflix deals and Oprah appearances. These people are nothing short of money grabbing criminals who's very existence is sinister.

As a former Royal Marine Bandsman (and didn't our Buglers do Her Majesty proud today!) I will say, Bravo - well played. I live down the road from you, I still play, and anytime you fancy some duets let me know!! (and , NO, chunky, that is not a euphemism!!) Stay strong for the 20th, you have 282K followers who all love you, and you know what......... ah, you DO know what!!!😉😘!!
@@maggieashton2111 Hi Maggie, it would be nice but I'm not holding my breath.! The one big difference I have noticed with Alex's vids compared with, well anyone really, is he never replies to any comments. Of course that is his prerogative and I wish him nothing but the best for his 'trial' next week. And, yes, the RM buglers are fabulous - I always admired what they did, without music, (unlike me who always had march cards to refer to!) especially their stick drill when marching and playing their side drums. Superb musicians.
@@maggieashton2111 I think you are correct about the numbers; I doubt there are to many 'non-famous' people with over 1/4million followers; and I am sure he has more to do than play duets with some unknown entity!!!! (would still be nice though!!!!)
Thank you, Alex. A life well-lived. Philip had the chance to grow hair gray and bring such good to the world. Rest in peace Kind Prince. Blessings and Thanksgiving for your inspiration. Thank you for being Queen Elizabeth's north star.
Wow that was so amazing. Such a beautiful piece had a lump in my throat thinking of our wonderful Queen and a tribute to our wonderful Prince Philip. Thank you Alex x
He plays the piano- and beautifully too? I am crying! (piano teacher here) Wow! Yes! The piano IS the go to place on a day like this. I just got done teaching remotely to kids whose whole family have covid. They never played better! Funny...
That was beautiful Alex, I can’t stop crying. My mother died last May in a care home. For over two months I couldn’t see her because of Coronavirus. There was nothing left to recognise of her, except memories. I would often hear this on the radio. Bless you and all who are suffering xxx
Absolutely superb, Alex!! Thank You for a touch of Class and Peace and Beautiful Music played so professionally by a very kind, sane, balanced Man as You. As a side.. Common sense and Logic did not miss you out at birth along with well trained grey matter......
..not forgetting his deep love for the rabble of whom were useful in serving him, it's just there is too many of us... It was about time he stopped takin up space.
Number1 That appears to be your problem. When you put service above self. Others before yourself. When you retire at 96 , then you too will gain respect from far and wide in our nation. God bless.
A very appropriate piece on today of all days your tribute well played no words necessary.... Thank you Alex ...As a Canadian Senior I closed my eyes and I was with friends lost too soon....
Damn you Alex..managed to hold back the tears for Philip’s funeral only then to open the floodgates when I hear you playing so beautifully on the piano..bravo 👌🏻👏🏻
Beautiful. So heartbreaking to see HRH sat alone, like many others who have lost loved ones during the last year. Respect to her Majesty, still showing us how strong she really is.
As a professional classical pianist, I applaud your use of your talents to express your feelings on this sad, sad day. Love from America. Love from Texas.
Really nice Alex. You are a man of many surprises and this day I can see has affected you very much. We feel a part of our life has gone as well. He would want us to fight on.
Playing the piano was always something I wanted to do but never took on the challenge. Very appropriate - who the hell gave you a thumbs down for that?
Alex, what a really pleasant surprise to know that you 're not just a brilliant Broadcaster, but quite an accomplished Pianist too. Beautiful. Thank you Chunky.
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh crying my eyes out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was beautiful! Dame, you play the piano too! We love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Alex you are a man of many talents. Music is a beautiful and wonderful expression of what it means to be human. Thank you for sharing this with us. God bless you.
Can you imagine what a mess England and the Royal Family would be in without having had HRH Prince Phillip as a staunch and loyal help to her Magesty the Queen? This is a stability that England needs, especially in times like these.
Wow Alex. I didn’t know that you could play the piano. You are amazingly talented. Will be thinking of you on Tuesday stay strong 💪. Everyone’s behind you and rooting for you. xxxxxxx
