I went with a group of friends to see Chubby live ....... naughty but very, very funny. I then bought his video and sent it to my adult son abroad..... he thought it was hilarious too. Love him

I have two good reasons to remember seeing a Chubby Brown show, in 1987 Scarborough, the day of my Dads funeral, On that unforgetable day, he helped to mend a broken heart. (There was a lad from Middlesbrough, Ronnie Keegan, R.I.P, selling merchandise on the door.)

The first time I saw Chubs, many many years ago, I had sore ribs for 3 days because of the intense laughter he generated. I love him, as does everyone. In London, I sat next to a guy who laughed so intensely he fell out of his seat into the aisle. We managed to get him up, but I cannot tell you what Chubs said.... youtube would pull the plug on me.

I worked with Joe Longthorne many times in the 70s-80s.He was a very good entertainer.I didn't know much about Chubby Brown,only what you hear, but after this interview, I realised what a lovely lovely guy he must be.I was a professional musician was many years and if this situation would have happened then, I too would have had to work in a supermarket, but that would have been soul destroying. Nice interview. Well done.

The society of today haven’t a clue with the sacrifices the people made during WW2. We have too many different cultures in our society who have no respect, too many whom have zero tolerance & patience. Social media is an enemy.

One hell of an act! One hell of a person! One hell of a bloody good night! Roy is one of the most genuine people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and he gave me and the wife a lit of his time and I’m so so pleased he’s kept going via Facebook with his act and had the nogging to do an online show! Although I missed it for working but I heard it was a successful show and I’m so so pleased he hs survived this awful virus so far and has been smart enough to use his head and take the time to think whilst getting through this crap time! Long live Roy Chubby Brown!

I watched Roy Chubby Brown in Rhyl almost twenty years ago. He told the funniest joke I have ever heard and probably ever will, and his songs were fabulous.

AUGUST 2020 last time I saw and met Chubby was outside the Manchester Apollo in 1998 with my girlfriend of the time, a very nice guy in my view. THANKS for the laughs along the way Chubby a truly unique talent.
