I thought the stamping texture was awesome. But then you just kept adding more and more to the project. WOW! Absolutely gorgeous. It has inspired me to try this. Keep up the great work.
I am loving this method of stamping a pour then I do filling a stencil. I am currently planning a patio pour and have 2 stencil moulds and stumbled on your video. THANK YOU, I can see alot of savings with this method. Great video!
It would be great if you could list out the supplies you used in this project as part of your description. That would also generate more business to you and/or your sponsors
I love this video. I agree with JeremyDN he says what I want to. I also have been preparing to do walkways in my rock/boulder gardens. Thank you for making this video.
I really like this method you use instead of pouring the concrete into the rock form. I've been looking for the silicone molds like the one you used, but have been unsuccessful in finding one so far.
Great job👍👍👍by far the best use of equipment on YT. I will be doing my driveway myself with a simular process and didn't think to use the plastic mold this way as a stamp imprint after the texture mats. Brilliant idea 💡 and yes your video turned my light on to making much better and faster use of the mold. I would have been doing what everyone else shows and filling the mold then using the trowel to clean off the excess and been at it forever. Top vid😁👍👍👍😁
Wow this looks great. I used a similar mold to make a patio. Filling it and trying to move it, without disturbing the pattern or having the blocks slump. It was so much harder and the results were no where near as good. Grass and weeds have grown up between the blocks. I wish I had thought of this 10 years ago. This is amazing !
And easy way to take care of the grass and weeds is to pour boiling water over them. It's easier then trying to pull them out and safer than using weed sprays or other chemicals if you have other plants nearby..... or pets or kids. Not to mention cheaper.
I love to watch experienced craftsmen at work. They can make most projects look doable. The novice might get there but it would take a whole lot longer.
Awesome video for inspiration, but I feel like more detail was needed. Like how long did the concrete dry before taking the mold off and stamping, how long to wait before staining... but definitely inspired me to do more research and give it a go, thanks.
# of outfits = # of days :). What a great job! It would be nice to have the links/ product names in the description. I find the cement the hardest part to do right, possibly (the edger and metal rods I am unsure where to get them). But I can't wait to try this in my garden, maybe a great idea for shaping a mandala.
Great video. It has encouraged me to lay a concrete path - but I will finish at the rubber mat stage - more preferable to me than indentation and the painted concrete. Smashing job.
I doubt you used flexi board as forms. 20'x20' would be a lot heavier than your average foot path. You would need 2x4 for sure. Unless you stake the hell out of it. Like I said. 2x4.
Amazing job! How long did wait before you use the mold stamp? I would love to do this except to stamp it on a vertical concrete retaining wall if possible. It would be critical in the timing of removing of the form. Anyone out there ever try it on a wall?
Came out Awesome! Gives me ideas of how I can redo my walkway. Only thing I didn't care for was the blue/green "copper patina" color. Other than that, I really like the end result. Thank you for this👍
You know your job well and you are technically strong with great artistic sense! Actually, if you could just upload a still shot of the finished project your work will speak much louder! Well done!!
That is one gorgeous walkway. I am very glad I saw your video cause I am about to make a few pathways around my home and I already have that form. The rubber mat adds so much texture to those. I need to watch how your applied the paint a few more times cause it’s exactly the color I want. Beautiful job man. I can image how nice you would make a small waterfall.
How much time do you have to come back with brush for final texture on a hot day if it were in the sun? Also can you seal it on the next day and would it still look the same?
