That's weird saying because the bean normally a menace, if thats the worst I see from KD that's insane. 27 8 8 is not bad for a 1st round play off stat, I hold Kobe far above KD on an all star list. That being said for "turning his back" KD put up respectable numbers for doing so, and I think isn't really comparable to kobe stats in 2006.

The next year Jordan didn't play too great vs the Magic either outside of game 4. Game 3 he only had 17 points on 33% shooting. Game 1 he was severely outplayed by Penny. Game 2 he played decent but shot 42%. What made the difference the 2nd time was great team defense and RODMAN. Dude grabbed 6 or more offense rebounds in every game. Dude had a 21 rebound game. Dude would at least give you 10-15 quiet ass 60% or up points to go with that. He made the Bulls capable of beating the Magic so easily in addition to Grants elbow injury...

I have never seen a team legitimately stop KD, like ever. The Celtics did something I didn’t even think was possible, I’ve watched LeBron get 35 footers shot right over his head. I’ve seen Kobe get fadeaways thrown on him over and over again. Marcus Smart and Jayson Tatum deserve mad props for that defensive performance.

It’s the same reason we praise MJ’s 6-0 record when we all know it’s because he didn’t make it to the finals in 90 and 95.
