Around 3-10% of men will experience depression during the postnatal period. Depression in new fathers has been found to begin before the birth of their child, with minimal recovery by the end of the first year.
In an attempt to come to terms with what is happening in his head, Ryan decides to open up about what’s going on and postnatal depression. With the power of conversation he has been able to take some pressure of his chest and begin dealing with these issues.
