Always a pleasure to hear from you D man , it's of course good to see some other businesses taking the lead , sadly that won't help much for customers who bought doomed engines over a year ago , the issue that I can see is they just don't stick with one engine design long enough to take it as far as it can go , wouldn't it be better if we had 2 or 3 engines that were rock solid performers backed with spares and a complete line up of accessories , least of which being reliable transmissions , now they have no less than v12s ! Now your talking insane amounts of cash for what is ultimately a hobby grade toy , it's cool , but most Average people can't afford that or can even build any car to drop it in , cison looks at least to be making good progress by having a functional engine and gearbox , Its just such a shame they appear to just focus so obsessively on any engine by itself they don't even know why their customers would even want it .
Good call there brother, the hobby does need a couple of affordable transmission choices that have the option to fit a handful of reliable engines with a full replacement parts stock in case we need to repair our drive train in our conversion, and yes the cost of buying a kit with a adaptible chassis and the engine/transmission we are into the project well over 1000.00 bucks then we have to make mounts and custom driveshafts not to mention all the electronics and fuel system,
I am in the UK and would buy more items from the USA. But their shipping chargers are just way over the top. One company wanted to charge me $35 for a $5 part.
good point there my friend I gave one of my bruiser subscribers a tiny lock out hub for his Hilux restoration and it cost me 36.00 for me to ship it to him, I don't know how much it cost him to receive it on his end.
@@13isa45 Same as getting it from China my guy.. As a lot of shipments come via boat. However, from China there are no import fees. Unlike from the US. Which depending on weight and price of the item (or inspections carried out by the US on shipped goods) can easily go from £24 up to £100. Again, depends on the weight and also price of the item being shipped. Most i've paid on US fees were on a £45 item. Which has £30 shipping. But also had £25 import tax/fee.
