dude why is this show so complex and well-made. its just based on a funny lawyer commercial created for a character to add a bit of comedy to a dark show.
It's true, it's incredible how from a simple funny commercial they could create a completely interesting lore and a character as depressed as Saul. After watching the series you will never look at Saul's attitude in BB as something funny again because in reality he is hiding the depression he suffers every day from literally having no one in his life.
@@isaibustillos7293they are talking about the simple idea behind the shows. Like for BB, a chemistry teacher turned into drug dealer to pay for his cancer. BCS, a lawyer has to deal with his brother who clearly has a mental disorder and try to start a law business. They are talking about how it's not the surface level concept that makes the shows so good, its the in depth writing and characters that make the shows amazing.
Jimmy was working his way up, even when the world just seems to always want to bring him down. Mike was falling down deeper into the shit hole he threw himself in.
@@hongkong8907 Red in the show symbolizes crime. And blue lawfulness. Mike is usually shown with blue because he follows a code. The light in the background points in the direction of red(as seen on the left trafficlights), showing jimmy's slow decent into the criminal underworld.
Season 1 - Lost in the middle of the desert, besides a payphone. Season 2 - Jimmy trying to climb his way up in the world, while others like Mike descend deeper. Season 3 - Black and white stripes, representing Jimmy going deeper into criminal activities. Season 4 - A happy go-lucky persona (Saul) masks Jimmy’s inner pain. Season 5 - The puzzle pieces of Saul Goodman are almost complete, except Jimmy’s heart. Season 6 - Gene donning the Saul persona one last time, after the hell he went through with Chuck, Mike, Lalo, Walt, and Jesse.
"The time is right Your perfume fills my head The stars get red And oh the night's so blue And then I go and spoil it all By saying something stupid Like I love you" "I love you" Jimmy Mcgill - Better Call Saul 6x09
I find Lola Marsh's (and C. Carson Parks) interpretation of "Something Stupid" better than the original. Sinatra's version is a nice bit of music, spontaneous and natural, whereas this new version is more generous, sophisticated composition. I've been listening to it for a good week I think (thanks YT mixes) and I can't get enough.
Man, I love the Better Call Saul posters. They all feel so meaningful and expressive, and I love how they use color and metaphors to convey the story. Sure, they're not exactly very subtle, but I think they're great nonetheless. My favourites are Seasons 5 and 6. 5 greatly emphasizes how, despite his newfound identity and the success that comes with it, he's also becoming increasingly heartless. Ever since he came back from the desert, which is shown in the background, he had a piece missing. Meanwhile Season 6 really ties the whole show together. It really makes us think about Chuck's claim of "People don't change", since even though he's now in hinding and supposed to completely abandon all parts of his former life, it shows Jimmy, or rather Gene, getting back into the Saul suit, probably for one last time. (Edit after the series has wrapped up): Wow, so it was actually not only about his last donning of the suit so brilliantly done in the finale, but I think also about his tragic relapse during the final episodes. His being surrounded by complete empty blackness also feels like a representation not just of how empty he demonstrably still felt despite said relapse, but also of how he's one of the last characters from both shows who's even still alive at this point, yet also, completely on his own until he dons the suit again.
I might be wrong about this, but am I not mistaken that the only time Jimmy or Kim say "I love you" to the other is when they break up? I often found that fascinating
One part of my life ended whilst I was watching this series, now BCS has left something meaningful in me, listening to this takes me to those good times
The greatest love story ever told on TV history ! i don't know how will i recover from BCS ending , so sad and just so bittersweet as well ............................................................. :( :) :(
(i'm going to hope the youtube translation feature helps me here) this may sound very condescending, but don't give up hope. it was for the best, there's no need to be upset (although it's fine if you do). in the end, splitting up seemed to be the happiest possible ending, and it's ok to move on, to go on your own or find someone new. but i promise you this: you will be happy. it may not be in the way you imagine, but happiness will come in one way or another, and with all my heart, i wish you the best in that.
One of the most relaxing pieces ever to leave on in background, I always have trouble remembering what kind of favourite music to play but this is definetly an unforgetable staple, helped me to be calm, good music while on a bus ride like going to school and back home, and good for when im doing dishes. Ill let this play in my own comforting time and i prefer this over silence.
..."The Winner Takes It All"....
This song is really therapeutic…. And… very melancholy…. PD: hope that Kim and Jimmy would be togheter again… Edit: After 6x9 … This BREAKS MY HEART 💔 Edit 2: After 6x13… Is sad… but i will think that Jimmy and Kim, still will have a relationship trought years
I will truly miss Saul Goodman and this show. Vince G shows just hot different. The cinematography is next level and it was sad to watch Jimmy become Saul. Props though because even in real life most criminals don’t get a happy ending:(
Season 1 poster - Starting out fresh in the world. No where left to go but up. Right? Season 2 poster - Walking down the street against a force where everyone is acting against you. Season 3 poster - Paint marks count to 3. White and black symbolize internal struggle of morals and ethics. Good vs Bad? Season 4 poster - Internal coping with the loss of family. Darkness behind the colored persona in front. Season 5 poster - Putting the pieces together. Final piece is the heart that finishes the puzzle. Season 6 poster - The Conclusion.
I know I stand in line Until you think you have the time To spend an evening with me And if we go someplace to dance I know that there's a chance You won't be leaving with me Then afterwards we drop into a quiet little place And have a drink or two And then I go and spoil it all By saying something stupid Like I love you I can see it in your eyes You still despise the same old lines You heard the night before And though it's just a line to you For me it's true And never seemed so right before I practice every day to find some clever Lines to say To make the meaning come true But then I think I'll wait until the evening Gets late And I'm alone with you The time is right Your perfume fills my head The stars get red And oh the night's so blue And then I go and spoil it all By saying something stupid Like I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you
From being the funny “criminal lawyer" of Breaking Bad to being a complex character who decided to give up his name and kill his true self and adopt another name and then get it back at the end in Better Call Saul. The Vince Gilligan Universe is one of the best universes ever created on television. Amaizing writing and amaizing characters.
If there would be a GTA&BCS crossover game, this would be its loading screen music.

F&!@&! Please help me Right now I feel an enormous deep in my heart, this serie is over and was the only thing which inspires me each morning going to my job and returning (1 hour and half going and returning 🥺💔
