I walked the GRR2 some 20 years ago and what strikes me is that the cirque de Mafate seems to have changed very little, which I find marvelous! Thank you so much for your stunning pictures! They make me feel as if I was back there: the heat, the beauty, the knee busting denivellations, the satisfaction felt when arriving at the end of a gruelling hiking day in one of the small ilets (villages), eating a hearty rougaille, the stunning skies at night......

Any one else mention? "ah maybe elicopter" That just sounded cute haha Enjoy your the travels everyone

Crikey never in my wildest dreams would I ever dream the island of Reunion being so big or so high, wow I was knackered just watching you two hiking it. The only thing that I knew Reunion being famous for was its shark attacks over the years. It looks to be an incredibly beautiful little magic place I really would like go and see for my self, I'm fluent in about six words of French Ha, but the tucker looks pretty good too, it would have to be, being a French island. Great video absolutely entertaining to watch. Please keep'em coming.👍👍👍💓💓💯

What an adventure you two.

Quel plaisir de retrouver l’île de la Réunion . Les paysages je les retrouve 30 ans en arrière. J’ai perdu deux ongles de pied lors de mes marches. Vous comprenez maintenant avec ces dénivelés. Le cirque de mafate est exceptionnel. L’institutrice vient à pied chaque début de semaine et repart de la même façon. Idem pour le facteur. Même les gendarmes viennent ainsi sauf urgence selon le temps. Profitez bien leig commence à parler français il parle de la bonne bouffe. Manger le carry saucisse, le cabri massalé. Le carry bichiques, bref l’alimentation créole. Allez les Z.oreilles nous ka allé. 👍👏😘

Been there, always calculate the weight of tent, sleeping mat, sleeping bag, but never calculate the weight of drone, bateries, DSLR, which totally its ~2,5-.3kg weight. btw nice hike trail :)

I Find i tend to fall over more when using sticks. Because you are relying on them instead of your natural sense of balance.

La pluie dans tente wow vous êtes bon de pas avoir perdu patience moi 33% de la MSR ok mais si c'est pas efficace je reste avec la MDR rester au sec est 10x plus important... t'imagine s'il y aurais fais froid OUBLIE CA MSR all the way
