My main question is where are the links to the papers you mentioned, and where is the data they used? I tried to find the PF network data, and it all comes back not available. EVERY IRIS video should link to papers, people and data. There are about 5 Billion people with some access to the Internet now. You have to put more effort into publishing on the Internet than any small publication that only reaches a few ten thousand people, at most. And I doubt anyone monitors comments. How sad. It looks like a good method, except there are better instruments for what you are trying to to. Richard Collins, The Internet Foundation

Yes it would be nice if there was a sufficiently detailed slide containing the info. On the other hand, papers are usually not hard to find by sticking a name, date, and couple of keywords in to a search engine. Then each paper would detail the data for that specific study. When referencing someone else's work, it's not normal to also explain the storage location of the data in each case unless relevant. An additional problem though is how many papers are paywalled even if the data is in some database somewhere. Though many databases are hard to use without training. You didn't really explain what you did to try and get some data or for which location? Although you make some good points I think it's also fair to say that only a few thousand of the 5 billion Internet users are going to have any interest in this video, and even fewer in the level of detail you're discussing. In any case I am sure if you contacted the author of the presentation the author would be happy to share their references and (publicly available) data sources. Said author would presumably also be interested in your assessment that there are better ways of doing their research.
