Sorry for your loss. I lost my mom last January and it hit me like a ton of bricks. Listening to Angelina sing helped me through a difficult time and I haven't stopped listening to her since. This girl is very special and I hope she has a long and successful career. Best wishes to you and your family!

First of all, RIP, Dad. And, I'm so glad he had a chance to listen to Angelina. I believe, by now, we all understand she is more than a great singer. She represents hope for all of us. That goodness will prevail and that love in our hearts will dictate the kind of lives we live. Soul, you said it was risky for her to do this. True, but I would rather equate her performance with being fearless. Let's try this on for size: You walk up to someone (who is very interested in music) and tell him/her about this wonderful new artist on the scene, Angelina Jordan. Before you tell the person anything about her you show them a playlist of the songs she has sung. The list is very long (over 140+ classic covers as well a half dozen originals). I can see the wrinkles on the readers brow as they look over the list. They will be mesmerized before they even hear her sing a note! And like Dad, when they hear her voice, their heart will take over from there. Oh, Soul, btw she just came out with her version of the Beatles, Yesterday. Enjoy.

I know exactly how you feel about your dad. Mine passed away 2 years ago a few week short of 93. He was still golfing and walking the first 9 holes until 3 months before and was high average bowler in the league. Back in WW2 he was Navy fleet boxing champ in his weight class. I was able to be with him the last 3 months to care for him out of state. As for this reaction you once again demonstrated how good you are and how much we all missed you. Angelina is still blowing our minds we each new release! THANK YOU and best wishes from Alaska.

I'm very sorry for your loss Soul, sometimes life isn't fair. I'm sure your Dad liked this as much as you did. Who would have thought they could change an iconic Pop song by the King of Pop, into a totally different genre? Angelina did & she calls this style she is creating, Jazzy/Pop. Her New MO is pick an iconic song that people say you shouldn't touch, sing it in a Jazzy relaxing way using a "killer" mic that picks up every detail & a subtle piano backing. It really works for me!!!

Soul, we all have come to the realization that Angelina is absolutely fearless. She has not been afraid to cover the songs of some of the greatest singers in the industry. That stems from the fact that she is so supremely confident in her abilities as a singer, song writer and composer whom happens to be the one who writes all of the arrangements to the covers she sings.

I'm sorry for the tragic loss of your father. It's never easy, especially when it's not expected. By the way, your reaction to 'Gloomy Sunday' remains one of my all-time favourite first time Angelina reactions. I've watch it at least a dozen times. I am so sorry for your father, all my love and thank you even more for coming back to Angelina despite the pain and for sweet memory of your dad. This girl is capable of amazing things, she finds different paths and solutions for everything she chooses to sing and she also maintains a superlative quality in everything she does, it's literally unreal. Now that you are back and have been mesmerized by Angelina's talent once again, keep your reactions coming. Angelina just dropped a cover of "Yesterday" a few days ago, and she has taken another masterpiece and put her amazing spin on it. I'm so sorry for the unexpected loss of your father. I lost my father 49 years ago and my wife almost 7 years ago. These are traumatic times in our lives and the world, music is often my salvation. A daily dose of Angelina throughout the loneliness of COVID sheltering in place has gotten me through. I hope to see more of your reactions to Angelina soon.

I looked through your video reactions of Angelina Jordan’s music and I noticed you hadn’t reacted to two of my favourites,: a) It’s a Man’s World and b) I’m Still Holding out for You I think these songs really let her show the world just how special she truly is. One is an old classic sung in front of a live audience and the other a virtually unknown and superb modern studio creation. Very different genres to perfectly showcase her vocal talents and versatility. Watch and be amazed all over again.

I'm sorry to hear about Ur Father's passing (xx). I know from experience that losing 1's father is soul destroying+very difficult to come to terms with so my heart goes out to U+Ur family . I'd love you to react to a young Brazilian singer " Gabriel Henrique "? I know that with Ur ear+appreciation for raw natural talent ie; Angelina Jordan that U'll be blown away with his voice,range+ as I said, Raw,Natural talent with no training other than singing Gospel in church. Thats such a sad story, my condolences. Its a cruel thing to experience, seeing someone always so strong withering away in short time. BTW: You forgot to show the video in the middle of your recording ;-) Regarding her arrangement, to be realistic - most previous covers slowed the song down. Which of course doesnt discount a bit from how brilliant the result fits together and does its magic. This video and "Yesterday" was directed by her uncle/manager.
