Hi Soul. You have been one of my favorite reactors to Angelina Jordan. I haven't seen you do any reactions for a while and hope you are doing well. I just finished your novel "The Beggar". I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was wonderful and thought provoking. It is not too much of a stretch to say life changing in the approach to life depicted on it's pages. It is ironic to have the impetis for change come from a humble beggar, much as Angelina Jordan's life was so moved by a beggar as well. I highly recommend you read her book "Heart to Heart". Her writing is indeed moving and only amplified by the beautiful artwork of her grandma Mery Zimani. You seem like good souls and as much as I look forward to each new song from Angelina I look forward to more writing from Soul LaVee. I hope that is in the works. Take care. ❤

Full diva here! She had several sold out concerts in Norway this Summer. I watched the one on the 10th July where she sang a mere 18 songs. She was so happy to be back on stage and was absolutely brilliant not just with her singing but the way she was with the crowd.
She changed the key to this song, but does it really matter as long as she has the ability to give each word, or phrase, meaning like no one else in this universe can. How can she evoke such emotion in each and every performance? Why do I get chills, or cry tears, or lose my breath when Angelina sing a song that I have experienced many times in the past without this happening? If this feeling only happened to me that would be ok, but it happens to billions of people. We play these videos of AJ over, and over again to get our high. I was a Whitney fan from the beginning of her career to her tragic end. Whitney was great, but Angelina at 16 is far better than Whitney ever was at making you feel each word, and phrase. AJ changes every cover to make if hers and far, far better than the original. AJ is the greatest STORYTELLING ARTEST I have ever experienced in my 75 years.
This performance is beyond belief, the cinemaphotography, the ART, and this time we get to savor over 4 minutes of total bliss, no one is capable of doing this song justice like Angelina Jordan. David Foster and Linda Thompson, who co-wrote this ballad for Whitney Houston would be blown away by this performance.

Good to see you, Soul! Yes, our Barefoot Princess has grown quite a bit in every regard, hasn't she? I believe she is 6' or 6'1". And she's now 16. At the end of the video superimposed on the screen was a promo for her doing her version of Elvis Presley's 'Suspicious Minds'. I STRONGLY suggest you take a look at it. You look well and sound great. Hey, life stirs us in many directions some of which we could have never anticipated. But, as they say, "That's life!" Soul, yes, she really added another dimension to this classic. It was wonderful. She hasn't slowed down a bit. She just completed a series of Concerts in Norway and people from all over the world attended because they couldn't wait till she came to them. She's back in LA and I believe she will be graduating from school next summer. After that, hold onto your hat because she will be officially marketed to the world. Her education has been a priority and she has never wavered away from that objective. And, Soul, let's face it, Angie is much more than a wonderful soulful, jazzy singer with a velvety voice. She touches people's hearts with the love in her voice which is so genuine our hearts cannot resist.

We know she can sing anything, but look at the ease when she tackles genres we might think are out of her comfort zone. Whitney’s iconic song?-no problem, and I’ll throw in some some jazzy riffs and soul to make it more interesting. Power, nuance, texture, emotion…beautifully woven together. But…since you’ve been away for so long, you have to check out Suspicious Minds. It’s a beautiful tribute to Elvis in many ways, but it’s also all Angelina, all grown up, mesmerizing us the way she did when she reinterpreted Bohemian Rhapsody.
This is so Magnificent , truly stunning. You simply MUST watch the Suspicious Minds video and it lift your Soul to Heaven and back. Love your admiration for her.

Angelina has burst back onto the music scene with a vengeance after the pandemic. You have to react to some of her Norway concert performances. Best guesstimates have her height right around 6 feet tall in bare feet, probably 6'6" or more in her blue leather boots and that beehive hairdo. I picture her walking down the street in LA stopping traffic😍😍
Soul, you’ve missed so much since your last Angelina reaction. You need to catch up because you will be astounded at Angelina’s growth and development. She went home to Norway in July and performed in three concerts. There are many cell phone videos of the performances on youtube.

She paid her tribute to the original artist, but she focused more on putting emotion in her rendition rather than just belting out.. the difference is splendid.. one cannot compare her to other artists; she has her own kingdom😉. Awesome reaction, Welcome back to the Rabbit Hole! She is just slightly under 6'1" now, and was 5'10" during her AGT performances. These numbers were given to me by someone who works for Republic Records, so I'm sure they are accurate, God Bless!
Soul, my friend, good to have you back. Angelina is now (since Juli 2022) a professional vocalist/artist. She is16 years old and 6,1 ft tall. After this video, she travelled to Norway to finally, finally, sing again on stage. Her concerts in Kurbadhagen, Sadefjord and Kongsberg were very intimate and absolutely mind blowing. She was talking to their fans/friends, she was giggling, laughing and shed tears of happiness. After Norway, she travelled to Japan for concerts and visiting relatives (her maternal Grandpa was a Japanese Gentleman). Now she is back in LA working on her Album, coming out next year, and her label will pushh the promotion for her. For me and others she definitly is the new Quenn of R+B and Jazz. I really enjoy your reactions to Angelina Jordan. Your analysis and your enthusiasm matches all of us that have gone down the rabbit hole. In the beginning, I saw her at seven years old indicating her first time singing in front of a group. You may wish to revisit Her when she was even younger than seven years old. There is a RU-vid performance that she did when she was only six years old called “I who have nothing”. This was her first time singing in a recording studio. I think your followers would be interested in hearing your comments knowing she was only six years old singing the song.
Welcome back! You have missed so much with Angelina. She performed 4 concerts in early July in her native Norway. There are many great fan recordings of those fabulous concerts. She was ecstatic to be performing live again and so appreciative of the enthusiastic response from those who attended. I think she let out her feelings when she opened one with "Mount Everest". That will knock your socks off! And if you haven't reviewed her tribute of "Suspicious Minds", BigAngieFan Chris Walker put together a fabulous mix of various videos from a concert. Larry--if we were not of an age, it would seem the fandom is just gushing as one might when you are 16. But following her closely as many of us have been then the superlatives keep growing. After hearing thousands of artists and groups since I was aware of music this is an artist who defies the little boxes and categories usually used... may we all live to see the greatness flower!

Unless someone is a close friend of the family and knows her personally, I think all we can do is "guesstamate", because I've seen nothing that is factual. 😉 I'm not sure how much you've missed, but she has a lot that are 'must see'. Did you see her cover of "My Funny Valentine" this past February? It was the first of three done at this shop. That was followed by her Elvis tribute where she (in my opinion) outdid his cover of "Suspicious Minds". Then there were MANY videos posted from her concerts in Norway and this video was her latest. If you haven't seen any of her videos from her concerts, they show just what a beautiful young lady she has grown into, and still only 16 years old.
omg no! Angelina is 178 or 5'10" as reported by the Norwegian media after interviewing her for she recent concerts in Norway. Many fans had photos with her and also confirmed. The beehive adds height but doesn't make her taller. PLEASE Stop spreading rumours. Soon you'll have her at 7' ffs. I can promise you've never read anywhere credible over 5'10".
@@ClifftheBigRedDoggy I was about 15 feet from her on the 10th July. She looked to be around 6ft but a lot of that may be due to her hair being up. Before the show she did a sound check where her hair was down and she was casually dressed in jeans and leather jacket. She looked much closer to 5ft 10 with the hair down. She was also chatting close to the band members as she went through some of her songs, and didn't tower over them.

I've never seen anywhere credible, or any link that states her height, only people that saw a picture or someone told them. Like the pic with her standing next to David Foster when she was 13, who is said to be 5' 11', and she is clearly taller in the photo, but then it doesn't show either of them below the waist. The debate about her height is similar to the one as to why she never released "I'm Still Holding Out For You". A lot of people 'claim' to know, but no one has ever produced any proof that her family didn't like the reference to suicide in this song, but was OK with it in several others. 🤷♂ I'd love to have a link that would verify all these questions and more, but I suppose I'll be waiting for a while on some of them.

Just because it was released after she returned doesn't mean it was recorded after she returned. And just so you know she probably already has half of her album all of her album already raw recorded , if not more

It is generally believed that Angelina is over 6 feet tall. I have just returned from two of her concerts in Norway and will tell you that it is not uncommon for Norwegian girls to pass 6 feet.
She is 16 and is 6'1" tall. A lot is being made that she lowered the starting key. If you didn't know that would it make what she has done a lesser accomplishment? I don't think so.
