Finishing off the Sonic Advance Trilogy with the entire playthrough of Sonic Advance 3 and while it was a blast to get through the game, it was an absolute ballache to 100% complete, along with it's sometimes 'all over the place' level design! But the pros still far outway the gripes. The game is a excellent blend of Advance 1's platforming and Advance 2's high speed action. Thrown into the mix is a partner character feature. The character pairings you put together can significantly effect (in obvious and not-so-obvious ways) how you deal with the obstacles, enemies, and path choices that you encounter in every level. Grabbing all 7 Chaos Emeralds in this game is grueling, so much so that I've done a guide after the playthrough of how to acquire them. I hope you all enjoy the video! Only one last 2D Sonic game for me to cover......

With Cream when Knuckles is her partner, Cheese spins around her and acts as a makeshift shield if Cheese makes contact with a Badnik. And at 1:47:01, that was a typo!!! :D

I remember playing this as a child, my brother had a GBA Advance emulator on our computer and I would constantly play this. I remember it would take me forever, like days, as a child trying to find every chao and I would always struggle doing the special stages to the point where I would cry and have my older siblings beat it for me to get the chaos emeralds. I don’t think I ever got all the chaos emeralds, and I don’t remember the last boss at the very end of the video, but I know I tried very hard for days finding everything. I’m so glad I found this video, it brings back so much memories of when I was around 5-7 years old. I only remembered this game because someone was playing the Green Hill Zone theme song in the car and it made me remember. I’m 24 years old now 😢

And I'm so very glad that you took the time to leave that message and good to hear that it evoked strong memories for you. I had and loved this game on Game Boy Advance when I was a young teen. The game itself I remember was great, but collecting all the Emeralds was ridiculous. I could only be bothered to collect them all once when I had the original game as it was such a chore. Hence why I had to split the playthrough and the guide in getting all the Chao. Maybe now you can go back and finally beat it 100%? 👍
