You'll always be the true Sonic to me Roger, the loner kid of the 2010s who loved Sonic with a passion. When this game first released I didn't care what everyone said and had a good time. Considering I was 12, I most likely wouldn't have minded. I just loved the smooth gameplay and that I could make any character in the design of the Sonic series in my image. So because of that, that is one of the reasons why, despite what people say about this game, this game holds a special place in my heart. The heart of someone who at the time was almost a teen. Farewell Roger, your spirit and voice captured the character of a Sonic who's all grown up after over 20 years in Generations, and continued to fit the character for what was to come next. Hell, it even fit Boom Sonic and it actually felt kinda refreshing to hear your impression no matter what version you played. If you aren't the epitome of a Sonic who's matured for the time he's lasted for, then I don't know who is and can fit Sonic to capture the feel of an older Sonic. Farewell Roger, to us Gen Z gamers, you will hold a deep place in our hearts for the experiences your voice helped shape for us Roger Craig Smith's Sonic- "My baby boy is all grown up and ready to face the world"

Even though this game was called bad a lot, the ending always makes me cry. The music and the stages being shown in the credits just give me a sad but still happy vibe. I'm so going to get disagreement, but this game is good. The soundtrack is gold, the oc customization is great, and the cutscenes are nice. Sometimes the game may suck, but it won't change my opinion of this game. I love this game. It's not the best, but not the worst.
Yeah it’s kinda the worst even 06 with fixes to all of the glitches ends up being better. However you are entitled to your own opinion so go on right ahead with it.

0:42 This feels like Tails relationship with Classic Sonic was meant to be a character arc and that Tails finally gets a little buddy of his own. The line where Sonic says “ Cheer up Tails I’m sure we will run into him again” makes it even more of a possibility that they may have been intending this. 12:17 Maybe the message Tails says at the end happens because Tails has learned the lesson when being with Classic Sonic. This may not be the case but it does give some context on why some things with Tails happen in this game. I just wish the game would have better writing and not have so many inconsistencies then this would of probably been more accepted if this was their intention.

Idk if it's the last we'll hear of it, but it's weird to think this may probably be the last we're gonna hear of young modern sonic's voice by Roger now that he's switched It to a deeper voice.
Now that you mention it, it's jarring to think that this hyper voiced Sonic running away into the distance is the same one we see kicking a robot giants ass.
You're not the only one. After the carnage that the Eggman Empire put the world through, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and the rest have a lot of hard work ahead of them to rebuild and restore the world to a beautiful state again.
No idea, but after everything he put Sonic, his friends, and the world through, I would not put it past Sonic Team to finally make a game that sees Eggman pay the ultimate price for his villainy.
Just a random fun fact you didn't earlier version of Sonic forces it was going to be revealed at the end that the classic Sonic in this game was just a phantom Ruby illusion the entire time

This song kind of reminds me of Come Sweet Death from the End of Evangelion( the ending song of the movie) but the difference is that this song is that they saved the day while Come Sweet Death is about everything been gone and dead in (The End of) Evangelion.
