I just hope that the higher-ups of SEGA keep their noses out of the game's development by and large; no changing the entire scope of the project halfway through like they did with Rise Of Lyric, no refusing to budge from a predetermined release date like with Sonic '06... None of that sh*t.
I still would like Insomniac to make Sonic games. Surely it would be good and successful like their Spider-Man games and R&C Rift Apart. Sega/Sonic Team have no idea what they’re doing when it comes to making Sonic games.
I have never been much of a Sonic fan, but this game has me truly interested. Looks like it is taking a major step forward in a different direction which interests me alot
Considering that a large majority of Sonic's fanbase is on Nintendo Switch, I wouldn't be surprised if Sonic Frontiers is actually pretty good on Switch. Sure- it'll likely still be better on other consoles, but Sega knows where the majority of Sonic's fanbase is, and as such I could see them making Sonic Frontiers pretty good on Switch! Not only that, there's plenty of other open world games on Switch that run fine, so it shouldn't be a problem getting Sonic Frontiers to run fine as well!
