Awesome controllers man. I'm a big fan of my SN30pro for platformers. I also noticed you mentioned the trigger issue on your gold PowerA wireless and I had the same issue at first too. I did a quick trigger mod and now I love it!
@@billable1861 you can add a little extra material to shorten that gap between the trigger and the button membrane. I have a video on my channel detailing how to get to it and I used hot glue but you can use little screws or anything else, it's super easy.
The power a gamecube controller will be better with rechargeable batteries where you have 4 batteries, 2 on the controller while the others on the charging stand. Once the battery goes low you can switch while the weak ones charge and the charged ones go for action
I have heard from a lot of people that the joystick on the hori gamecube controller will sort of snap to the up/down/right/left directions. Have you noticed anything like this while playing? Also people have noted that the joystick will flip back the other direction after you release it quickly, have you come across this? Great review, keep it up.
Hori pad is decent but it feels cheap and is clearly inferior to the PowerA and OG GameCube controller. If you didn’t like the travel on the L&R buttons on the OG GC controller you must’ve not played with one growing up cause we all loved that shit, the triggers are shaped correctly and the travel is fine compared to those crappy excuses for L&R on the Hori pad
Feeling cheap does not affect gameplay in any capacity. Loving a feature does not make it better. Via travel distance on triggers. If you play competively, you're going to want it. The L and R are perfect. Quick clicking. Also sorry but the OG gamecube for ssbu needs a fuckin adapter, like why. So I need to spend 15 more dollars to even use it? Power A has a lot of travel distance and is bad for parrying or blocking on time. The c stick is heavier, which is bad because you want to flick to do an aerial or tilt. The Power A does indeed surpass the OG gamecube controller. The Hori Gamecube beats both of them, for the extra mobility.

I've actually had experience with the powerA wireless controller's c stick not registering inputs when i try to perform actions It doesn't happen constantly, and it can be fixed by just taking out a battery and putting it back in but like, that's really not good in a match Has anyone else experienced this problem with the powerA? I'd like to know if it's fixable
