I think another thing that works about this style is how it looks more like an anime or manga because of its drawn look. The pokemon, the trainers, and the world all look consistent with each other in this style. This solves a nitpick of mine with the recent mainline games, namely how the pokemon dont fit into the world.
That mf look so beautiful and whimsical and nostalgic to me. All Nintendo knows how to do is Mario and Zelda because people expect good Marios and Zeldas, but Pokémon fans just eat up whatever slop they give us. I haven’t touched it since Sun and Moon
Just goes to show that Pokémon can do better with their games and choose not to but will still slam you with copyright strikes if your IP is anything like theirs.
@@S.pilgrim counterpoint: gen 2, it still has Kanto but has a lot more content. Also they need a third opportunity, how are they going to mess up with the level curve twice?
Seriously though, I think they did a great job with this game on switch. I love it and really don’t mind the loading times. That’s just so minor to me. I care more about having fun and enjoying the game
Honestly there all useless to me with the first one barely making the graphics better for $100🗿 Secondly for me the joy-cons are fine I don’t think they’re uncomfortable if they do or I don’t want to use them, then I use my pro controller. And Thirdly, I don’t really like earbuds and I already have wireless headphones.
Anyone who thinks the Switch version looks good with post-processing settings on low/off is retarded. Best settings are everything on/high with sharpening set to middle option (low).
