Sonic Generations (PS3): Rooftop Run - Modern - S-Rank 

I'm gonna say it....one of the best levels in the entire SERIES *spin dashes off*

This stage is what really made me fall in love with Sonic Generations. I always liked the game a lot, but...the part where he's running down the church (or whatever the building is) and you see all the balloons and the rooftops...I dunno. The visual design of that really impressed me.

Best level in Generations, personally. I can't even count the number of times I've played it.

It just isn't the same without the "here we GO" and the "WOOO"

I'm really hoping Sega makes another 3D Sonic like this with the cool drifting and speed. I really didn't like the Classic Sonic portion of the game. Hopefully they keep Classic Sonic in the style of Sonic Mania and 3D Sonic in the style of Colors and the Modern half of Generations.

Forces made me appreciate Unleashed and Generations so much 💙. Make them backward compatibility already!

Man... I didn’t get to play this game because it wasn’t coming out for any Nintendo consoles other then the 3DS... I feel like I missed out :(

This level, for both sonics made me believe I was playing the best platformer game I've ever played. You play so well! I wish I could be that fast.

The attention to detail on this game is incredible, at 1:20 Sonic is moving so fast, the music actually distorts a bit...uh-mazing -_O

so hard to believe its so easy to get S-Rank in this game i mean like make it to the goal within sub-4 minutes without dying and its yours, cmon sega we need a challenge :P

I beat my old time and now got it down to 3:14. Lol, trying to beat my old time is something I will never, ever try again - too frustrating and anxiety inducing. But I love this game.

Wow. This was a solid run.

You know whats really interesting, every time i play this level. For some reason the level glitches and i like go outside the level itself? Its near the end where i have to attack the others into hitting the blimp or whatever that flying thing is called. and then all i hear are like gun shots and the music just playing.

If I could choose the levels, I would have 5 levels per era and I would pick: Classic era: Green Hill Zone Emerald Hill Zone Angel Hill Zone Flying Battery Zone Palm Tree Panic Dreamcast era: Windy Valley Green Forest Metal Harbour Grand Metropolis Casino Park Modern era: Sky Road Splash Canyon Wave Ocean Apotos (Windmill Isle) Tropical Resort

I've found with the levels where you race a Doppelganger some more challenge to the S rank.

Just like unleashed which I still have I play rooftop run so much it's fun cx

Jesus crist you did better then me and most of my friends say im the new school sonic king i cant even do this stage without dieing noto n unleashed or this you my friend are epic and more of a king then i am.

I honestly think Rooftop Run in Generations is better than the one in Unleashed visually. Although I like them both equally.

How'd you feel about the quick step section in this level? I don't think it was as fun as the unleashed one.

Check in the options menu, you can turn Controller Tutorials on or off there. Maybe for some stupid reason it's off by default, or you accidentally turned it off when getting rid of Omochao.

In Sonic Unleashed WII/PS2, the rank depends on time.

You know I was thinking of how Nintendo could do a Super Mario Generations or something, but appart from 64, Sunshine and the Galaxies, there are not too much iconic levels on Mario games.

I was watching some sonic unleashed gameplays and accindentaly i falled into this video thinking it was sonic unleashed I only saw the difference when i looked at the Hud.
