You should also try the special stages after doing the level select code. There's plenty of new ones, and I had a go at most of them.

Wow different colors for characters? The only thing that would make this better is if you could have splitscreen instead of widescreen. Sounds silly but since both players would have the handicap I don't think it would be bad.

What about it in particular is the issue? Is it the white flash? Swapping from 2 screens to 1 was quite an achievement for Sock Team, but we'd rather try and improve things if we can.

@@DA_Garden So, upon rewatching, yeah, it's the flashing. I know it's a huge achievement, but the transition between the two screens is (literally) paintful.

@@DA_Gardenthis is a really cool, fun technical accomplishment but I think for some it could be visually disorienting or uncomfortable overall. Don't know if there are ways to make it less jarring.. is the white flashing there for a technical reason or as an deliberate visual effect? Obviously beyond that though, the hack immediately looks very awesome -- congrats to the whole team on the quality release!! I've got to try it with someone ASAP

@@PigDan The white flash is hiding the graphics changing from 2P VS to 1 Player mode, and the screen transitioning. The Mega Drive cannot do this in one seamless frame. We are toying with other ways to get around it, though. Even if the flash is a different colour, or something.
