The Adventure, Boost, and 2D formulas all work really well imo, and Sonic is at his best without any big gimmicks. Thanks for including Heroes, it's kind of an exception for me. I'm just really nostalgic for it.

Sonic Rush was bad though. The true final boss theme did slap however.

Eh, I’d say generations is better than unleashed as a whole, mostly cause there might stages drag down the experience

@@emperortoho I agree. Though the night stages are way better in the Xbox 360/PS3 version than in the Wii/PS2 version. On the SD version it's a complete button-masher, while in the HD version it's a lot more complex and fully fleshed out. Also I personally think the classic stages in Generations are honestly worse than the night stages in Unleashed imo.

I sort of agree, if you're talking about Colors on DS. Wii version is bogged down by mediocre 2D sections IMO

@@pyrofur_nx yeah the colors ds is pretty good and while colors has those subpar 2D sections I still think it might be a great place for someone who has never played a sonic game ever to start

Play Mania and Generations. They're both on PC and are the best in terms of classic vs modern gameplay, though generations story really sucks. If you want a "good story" with some also solid gameplay, play the Sonic Adventure games, Unleash, or Black Knight.

I'm kind of surprised to see how persistent these Zeti bastards are in the IDW comics. Zavoc alone is cool for what character he is, but why do the writers insist on using the Zeti so much, yet Infinite (a villain who desperately needs development) isn't allowed to be used? Must be some weird Sega mandate.

There are only a very few things wrong with the 3DS version: -No pure "Railgrinding" levels -Tilt controls (dear god don't even get me started on the Special Stages)

Riders I love, the all stars racing and tennis are good, transformed is great, and sonic team racing is really enjoyable

Havent tried team racing, and im a huge of sonic riders so im based

@@sebakp4555 well if you like transformed then you'll be fine cus it's that without the transform part, and the team play mechanic is both optional and really well done. I just wish there were more characters.

Yeah. For what i saw i really liked that mechanic where the player of a team was first, they leave a trail so team members go faster in it. Wish they implement that in a sonic riders sequel(hopefully in this timeline)

My only real experience of 3ds version of lost world is through SomeCallMeJohnny’s charity livestream and he did not look like he was having a good time……

Sonic and the Secret Rings sucked. The motion controls were hell, the RPG mechanics were poorly implimented, and the story was dumb. Black Knight was so much better, with a god-tier story, great characters, the best version of Sonic we've ever seen, incredibly fun gameplay, a much better leveling system, and much less intrusive motion controls. Though both games like 90% of all Sonic games have amazing music.

Secret Rings also had really creative level themes, so I'll give it that over Black Knight at least.

@@krimsonkatt never got to play black night as a kid unfortunately, I really wanted too but could never find it at a store near me so secret rings was all I played. Well besides sonic unleashed and THAT I wouldn't recommend because from what I remember the "ware sonic" mechanic felt "okay" but it still felt like a waste of my time whenever I had to go though it given how much more fun the regular sonic parts were comparatively.
