I learn so much about these zones just watching you speedrun them. Ray and tails are so useful as well it's amazing. Great run, such skilful play. I still have trouble with a lot of these bosses
very impressive, better than anything i can do. But, unless you knew this already of course, it's still possible to hit eggman without letting him go if you pick up a bomb before him. letting the button go at the proper time when the bomb is near you will drop the bomb without dropping eggman, if you're quick anyway. I dunno if you already knew that though
i decided to look back at my tails playthrough to be sure. Allow me to adjust what i said (again, sorry if you already knew this) but if you pick up a bomb before eggman, as long as you let go enough for the bomb to come out of the vortex before eggman, it's possible for the bomb to harmlessly be let go while keeping eggman in the vortex to get the hit.
Glad to be of help then. I'd suggest a little practice with it, as it is possible to drop the bomb and eggman due to bad timing. You earned a sub, and I can't wait to see sub 40
A minute better than the last, a huge improvement! I can only imagine how much better you'll get. You definitely beat a lot of us out here, that's for sure.
Essentially Ray and Tails Mania Plus. Good work on the speedrun though. I was absolutely amazed at the way you did both Flying Battery and Press Garden Act 2. Hope you keep finding ways to get faster!
Ḉąp̃tǻĭñ Ẽnçhilâdă In Mania when you clear an act the next transition and stage is already loaded, when you die during the act clear screen it teleports the player into the next stage, if it’s done correctly, the time isn’t loaded yet and the stage starts without the time starting. It only starts when you die and respawn at a checkpoint.
Also on your first bit, it's the same ceiling clip as all the others, just you can't see it very well. Tails is a lot higher on the screen than you think.
The final boss part is very impressive. Most of the speedrunners I watch use lightening shield so that they can ignore the electrified tentacles. But you don't have lightening shield and you still don't get hurt by them.
I can see that if she improves, the run will soon reach WR status at sub 37. TAS, it would be around maybe 36 (if a tas run ever exists) Just all depends on Luck manipulation.
Archyx Lea A TAS if this game is not happening any time soon, as you need an emulator to create a TAS. This games not getting any emulators anytime soon.
@@goldflowergamer3139 I thought TAS isn't by just emulators. I thought its by use of special devices, program algorithms amd etc. Like any means necessary to beat it as fast as possible? Though if that is the case...i never really knew that's what TAS were. Which, honestly sounds like a good thing i suppose.

So what's the goal of all these speedruns? I mean, it looks nice and all and i like it, but what is the goal? To show how fast you can complete the game or there is something else? Nice speedrun by the way. Feels like Sonic himself was playing this game :D
Awesome run, still lots of room for improvement, although the RNG in studiopolis boss is annoying. Would it still not be faster though to do an all emeralds run? Because then you literally have max speed and invincibility for the majority of the game.
All Emeralds doesn't interest me nearly as much, so I haven't looked into it. It is faster in Mania Mode categories that don't have to do the extra Egg Reverie boss, but I don't see it being likely that it'd be faster in Encore as - Giant ring locations in Encore are generally much further out of the way - The special stages are longer (though I don't believe by thaaat much with the fast strats) - Encore is so broken and you skip a lot already, meaning less places for Super to save time Though ultimately this is uninformed speculation.
I mean you can do whatever you want, someone could do "Mighty First" if they desired though there's no real point to doing so as he's not really useful at all.
Actually I can just stick to this version, if the game does ever get updated again (there's no pressing need for it anymore). Also the game was made by more than one person, it always annoys me when people act like Taxman is responsible for everything....
