its so weird to see a completely new character with completely new and mostly not reused sprite art like Amy in an old game... but also im so glad shes becoming an actual playable character again. might get sonic origins solely for her.

I'm curious, can you get footage of Super Sonic's new sprites in 3 (like looking up, turning around on Carnival Night barrels, sliding, etc)? I remember hearing that those sprites were accidentally taken from Sonic 3 Complete and I'm curious to see if they've been replaced.
Wow why does the music still start from the beginning after getting a 1-up? I hope there’s a day 1 patch to fix that EDIT: The hidden Cool Bonus is still there during the score tally
So, Amy is similar to Sonic in 3&K; but her uses are different if I’m getting this correct? Her hammer flip lasts longer than the Instant shield And her hammer dash doesn’t necessarily give a speed boost like Sonic’s drop dash? It would just be her normally running with her hammer out
If I get this correctly the hammer flip indeed lasts longer than the shield. If you keep the button pressed Amy will run straight while moving the hammer like Harley Quin or something
@@belmont_gr so is Amy’s hammer flip better than the instant shield in every way or are there some things the hammer still can’t hit like spiked enemies Also when she runs with the hammer is she invisible in the front from enemy collisions
Remember “Amy in Sonic 3 & Knuckles - ROM Hack” ? Well in that game Amy CAN break through Knuckles only rocks to get through Knuckles’ routes. Well in this game Amy’s hammer is weaker and cannot go through Knuckles routes anymore! :(
From the leaks it looks like Super Amy’s form is just her regular form with flashes of a lighter color, like Knuckles’ form, which likely means her Hyper form will be the same just with an added after-image effect.
@@belmont_gr All you would have to do is enter Up, Up, Down, Down, Up, Up, Up, Up on the press Any button section to access the Level Select/Sound Test, then enter, 04, 01, 02, 06 twice (once for Chaos Emeralds and again for Super Emeralds) could you check to see if Upper Marble Garden 1 still spawns debris forever?
2:40 Why is the color or Amy’s name not like Tails’ & Knuckles’ ?! The name should match her colors like Knuckles’ is Red for his fur & Green for his socks!
I wonder if they fixed the 2 collection crashes issues that the previous update featured (Sonic 1 crashes once you get the 6th emerald if you have Sonic + Tails mode activated and Sonic 3 crashes if you enter the Slot Machine bonus stage if you enable the vanilla Sonic 3 branding cheat in the sound test, if not they will have one mode unable to get 100% runs in Sonic 1 and the other would be a pain in the gut to not use the bonus stages to risk the collection crash, especially if you use the No Save option), issues aside, feels great to se the Pink Heroine the attention she deserved from the start.
@@AWMonopolyMan Yeah, by the way, the Sonic 1 crash I mention ALSO happened in it's initial 1.0 version, however it happened randomly (and I haven't seen Sonic + Tails runs in Sonic Origins excluding my run I have in my channel), later the day 1 patch fixed it but the last update prior to the plus version made the issue return to being a guaranted thing to happen instead of being by chance.
@@AWMonopolyMan I'm not suprised they didn't fix that very situational fatal crash, oh well, if I do that brand remove code run, I have to refrain of using the bonus stages.
@@PikangsFutaba Just don’t enter at 20-34 rings (that’s Slot Machine), 35-49 is Glowing Spheres and 50+ is Gumballs (basically be careful of Yellow Stars, Reds and Whites are safe to use)
