I think this might actually be one of the most underrated jams in all of Sonic honestly. I don't think its a stretch to say that this song feels like what Sonic was always supposed to be. Probably the perfect music to montage overtop of the major events within a classic Sonic adventure. If Sonic made more of an open world action adventure game themed around floating islands, this should be the music they choose to represent it. God I would love that.

Really wish the OVA was tied into the more "canon" timeline of Sonic the Hedgehog. The movie was great but its like a sole spin off.

This is one of the best tracks in any Sonic media, period, and that’s a notoriously high bar to clear. How this never found its way into a game is beyond me.

Best track in the whole OVA hands down. Also it wouldn't be complete without this line STRANGE ISN'T IT?! I do hope that we get a Metal Sonic vs Sonic boss fight in the 2019 movie.

I come here from the future with great news of the full version of this majestic sound.

Much as a I like all these extensions, I will always be sad that no one will ever be able to properly remake the version that plays during Sonic vs. Metal Sonic since so much of it obscured by dialogue and SFX. The Reconstruction mix comes close, but the remix of the song isn't really to my liking.

ive been looking for this song for so long. the fact that it's from sonic's ova is truly amazing. i recently watched it, and god I love this so much. Wish i was a teenager in the 90s and watching this for the first time. Would've been an irreplaceable feeling

Man I don't care who you are, the ova was awesome and the soundtrack had so many bangers. But then again, I grew up in the sega genesis and the 16bit Sonic games so I'm a little biased.

It makes me sad that the music for the movies isn’t like the OVA. Even if they don’t want to use music from the games, they could’ve tried to do what the OVA did. It didn’t use music from the games, yet this song and so many others just fit Sonic perfectly. I really hope they do better with the music in 3.

Ya know if Disney can do a revival of X-men 97 then I feel like sega can do a revival of the Sonic ova. Make a full season with updated animation. And the sound track gotta sound good just like this. They were really cooking 🔥with the soundtrack. It would be cool seeing this revived for the new generation and for the old fans that watch the ova for the first time.
